For upscayle you will get different results using different upscale models. You csn also download and add more custom models to give you different and better results. Upscayl is my goto for image quality and accuracy using different models

Thanks for an interesting update. However, it seems you overlooked the Topaz'z Gigapixel which should be (as far as I know) even better, also with some more specific upscaling features, and comes at 99 USD.
That’s what I and others thought too; however, Dave Kelly’s comparison video looks like there’s no quality difference. He does the same upscale across both Topaz Photo Ai and Gigapixel 7. @@jamesswift4 Yes, I found that video just a moment after my comment here. Very interesting. I intended to get back here to edit my comment but didn't get to it in the end. Despite everything, today I bought the Topaz Gigapixel (v.7.1.3) and I'm absolutely pleased by how amazing program it is. The models and options of adjusting are just amazing and I'm afraid that's the most important part of the best softwares that's being so often left out of such comarisons while they make all the difference.
Thanks for the Update! I've been playing with Topaz Photo AI for a few months now (currently on v3.0.1 from v1.?) on .JPG's from online, and they are continually updating it with improvements (free). Its Denoise can do some strange stuff to the eyes, teeth, and fingernails if you crank it up too high on a noisy image and/or get too wild on Upscaling. Crank both back a bit, save, and do it again on the new image and all works well. Of course the more detailed the image the better the results. I've been impressed and very happy with it so far, and have no buyers remorse.

Can you upscale in topaz and then send the png back to Lightroom and use denoise?
Sure thing! I f you have the paid version for Topaz you can save your file and then take it to lightroom to apply any other enhancements you want to make.

Interesting that you prompted for both v6 and v5.2 at the same time. Could you elaborate on what benefits you see in this method?
Prompting for both versions at the same time let's you spot a clear difference between the ouput each version has. Actually my intention in the video is to show the difference between both versions. Also, some image styles produce interesting results using previous versions of MJ. It's a matter of trial and error to find out which version suits better your creative needs.

it's a bit more complicated and slower... but I've noticed better results upscaling in ComfyUI. As I said it IS slower... but you can upscale as long ar your VRAM holds out
Tilt lens are primarily for architectural photography to make perspective corrections. Not to blur or unnecessarily distort unassociated areas. Can't give a thumbs up on this one.

Oh come on, Topaz is the most popular upscaling solution, at least among photographers. And Magnific is arguably the best AI upscaler, of the ones that 'reimagine' the image, like Krea but much better. Of the ones reviewed here, I only care about Krea.

I not only need face consistency but costume consistency .Can I design the look of custom characters and can you show multiple characters in the same frame ?
It's kinda hard to get multiple characters in the same frame. An option for that is to refine the prompt for that exact frame to try to get a better result. As for character consistency, I'm crafting a video on that! 🙌
@Bazillions See, that's what I thought this AI stuff needs to be redesigned to work like Poser or Z-Brash Where you can. manipulate not only costumes but poses and camera angles. not, just prompting and hope for the best.

Great video, however, it seams you started with large and good images and you never compared the size of the upscaled images only the quality. I think the final resolution makes the difference. What do you think?
Good point! Actually I'm gonna run through storage to find some old photos and give them whirl through some of these tools to see what they can do with those photos.

Here is why you did it wrong here. When we use upscaler we use the most beaten photos those who have the worst resolution there is meaning those of 240p or 360p or 480p. Or those old photos which scanned from a grandmother's photo album to get a more clean upscaled version and may be a colored one too . NOT THE WAY YOU DID ;the images that you used already are awsome by themselves no need to rescale them and they are already a product of an A.I. generated process.

Wow! That was an extensive and a really good demonstration of the Best Ai upscalers! I've tried all of them. Definitely we will leave out Photoshop and Lightroom on upscaling 👎 They can not come any closer to the Best upscalers that exists today. Which are the Dgb,lol (amongst the free tools) and of course the paid ones you forgot the Top one in the world. (Topaz PhotoAi)!. Not the topaz Gigapixels. Topaz Photo Ai is the Number 1 for me. Because it is an upscaler and enhancer at the same time. I don't like gigapixels. PhotoAi took its place now. By the way "Pixelcut" and "Upscayl" are identical if not the same softwares to dgb,lol. There is no difference. i've watched a video comparing these 3. They are exactly the same tools with different names. About the "Upsayl" to see the difference on the image you need to save it to your computer. The comparison slider of the software is unable to show the results on the image properly. So you need to download the image to your pc in order to compare it with the original image. And last but not least the Upscale.media is the Worst for me. Try to upscale a real photo with people wearing clothes or jeans and zoom the result image. You will notice that it creates patches of noise and artifacts in some areas of the picture...I hope my comment helped. You have a new subscriber to your channel. 👍😊

I just wonder if a video can be made on writing prompt. Honestly I am not good at it. I still not able to generate two human characters in a scene. Like in a log house, western style, a man is on wooden floor, injured, blood know shirt, a beautiful blonde sitting next to injured man crying wearing dress of those days.
