  They aren't metal, they are multi genre emotional sound scapes. That end break he " bites back " like he just said he was going to. Every progression is meant to elicit an emotional response.   4:41 idk if your talking about this, but this genre is called "tearout" which is a subgenre of dubstep that basically is just a very heavy version of dubstep. The thing that you thought was a snare is called a tearout gun bass. Which is the main bass of this genre. I like tearout but marshmello didn't really introduce it well to metal fans like you. I reccomend listening to "marauda" if you want to start listening to it. But i think deathstep(also a subgenre of dubstep that mixes death metal aspects into dubstep) is better.

  okay I gotchu, thank you for helping me out. I have this vision of a perfect electronic and metal crossover idea, where i mostly wish it incorporated more of the typical metal techniques, especially in the drops, kinda having the instuments/ techniques in each genre being used back and forth or simultaneously. Maybe there is already a genre for what i'm describing but i have yet to find it. Although i do really like the song "die by my hand" by Sullivan king, which comes so close to what im thinking
