The reason they don’t travel around as often right now is because from what I heard, John gramling is sick and him getting to that certain age, and I guess Barney deciding not to take Mack to the usual railroads that are too far from home this time till he gets someone to take John’s place when traveling.

This was a great day to chase the 611. It was my and hubby's favorite and got hooked on it. The 4501 came down the tracks behind our house and we got some stunning pix. This is a terrific video of the 611.

I think they should've made the railroad circle around the park with more than one station instead of the handlebar layout.

When the park first opened as Rebel Railroad in 1961 the train ride was the only attraction, it was never intended to be a full theme park or nearly as large as it eventually became. Unfortunately they are kind of stuck with what they've got.
