Aaron, what do you mean you think Myrtle sounds in between Koa and Mahogany? Isn't it brighter than both? How does in compare to Cedar? (Probably sounds something like Fir?)

I heard thing song on the BBC over 70 years ago and for some reason it suddenly came into my head this afternoon so I looked it up on KZread. This wasn't the version I remember but it's close .

Brilliant work Ralph Shaw. You get big laughs by NOT singing. Masterful. And though you have your banjo ukulele with you of course, you don't play it. I wonder if your grandfather knew my grandfather. They knew the same songs at least I think.

had to watch the video several times to really get the grasp of how the slipping of the end of the string to "trap" it from slipping. thanks for this! it helps a lot!

Ofcourse the supersoprano What brand strings do you use. I have a soprano longneck with Martin Fluor Carbon ,and change the plastic saddle for Nubone. And i like to try the low tuning. Greetings from the Netherlands

I have a 60 year old pineapple soprano from Hawaii. I added Titanium strings, geared machine heads and a piezo pickup. It sounds amazing imo

Unfortunately, at crucial points in the process working at the headstock, you explain what you're doing while _blocking the action with your hand_ which is extremely confusing!_ If the verbal description were enough, that would be all right. But it isn't: the viewer has to _see_ what's going on but cannot, and that defeats the purpose of the video.
