Love the videos. Could you explain how and why you split things into different buckets and what the scrap is worth? I live in Holland but I grew up in padgate. Cheers and happy hunting Lee

Sure lee, I use a couple of different buckets , one for all my plastics/fishing line and batteries then have a bucket for any metal bits I get, plus a smaller bucket for the finds I get that I want to either keep or look at later in the day. And the price of the scrap metal changes each week but on average I get £140 per 1000kg . Hope this answers your questions lee. 👌🙏

Hi Paul, Superb tool for rescuing the magnet off the side. Of course its where you get the long aluminium bar from. The wheels are off the belt shafts which drive the old machines at the mill. At time 23:02 you were correct ,yes a bearing holder, to one of the machine drive shafts. Looks like another trip on the cards..

Some of that stuff from the mill probably hasn't seen the light of day for a hundred years. I think those triangular plates may be from that old style racking that you made to suit, like a big meccano set.

HI Paul, Just goes to show what your other magnets missed. Liked the 7Lb weight. The 2 wheels and the single wheel will be from the mill across the canal, they could have had a belt going round the outside of the wheels driving one of the mills machines. Your last item looks like it could be off a steam engine push rod.
