    You're spreading misinformation here. As a Korean, I've watched the whole conference and can gladly tell you all Koreans are on her side. The international side of this debate is siding with hype, since they haven't been able to watch the whole conference.You've pointed out that she's trying to steal new jeans from hype and separate ador from hybe. Well, let me break it down for you. 1. She only owns 18% of the shares of ADOR.(You need 50%+ to gain control over any company. It's basic knowledge) 2. She proved that hybe made false accusations in the conference. 3. She showed all the text messages her and the CEO of Hybe and Bang sihyuk talking to each other, which is substantial proof. As you didn't get to watch the full conference and understand everything, I get why people are on hybe's side as of the moment. But please do not be rude to her such as saying she looks like she's trying to look as beaten up as possible. Her life could've been gone by a second and who would even care about looks at that point. This is called an "emergency" press conference. Do you expect her to get fully dressed up with beautiful makeup? That just doesn't make sense. Before making a video which can be viewed by netizens who are unsure of the whole situation yet, why don't you make sure you know all the correct information before making a video? This video just makes sure min heejin is on the bad side disregarding all of what's said during the conference, since you say she was "spitting random stuff". Please either make another video with correct information including clips from the press conference with proper translation, or add some proper explanation in the description or the comments regarding min heejin. It's been proven she's innocent and hasn't done anything such as leaking private information.

    Nothing wrong with lesserfim perform at Coachella. K-pop fans are so disconnected from the rest of the music world in general. K-pop has the most overproduced, commercialized, choreographed to a tee performances in the world. Which in itself can often be very impressive and obviously good to watch. But most other music shows in the world are far more about the energy and passion behind the music. Of course, you still try to look and sound great, but it's almost secondary to the actual show itself. Another thing I've noticed is K-pop fans tend to be really bad at identifying when groups are lip-syncing and actually singing live. I see some people criticizing groups for singing slightly worse live and then in the next breath, praising a performance that was clearly lip-synced. If people were more aware of when groups were actually singing live they'd have more realistic expectations, especially for prolonged shows as opposed to one-song performances.

  • @DechiYT
    @DechiYT2 ай бұрын

    I mean If you are happy with performances like that, than that's your thing. It is true, that K-Pop is probably the most commercialized, but despite that fans can still want good vocal performances. Only because the industry standart regarding the usage of lip-syncing and stuff is very low, people don't have to like it. I just see the problem when companies put idols over and over in bad situations.

    I think their new coachella song sounded better vocally because it was a "shouty" song, and you can't really Not support a shout, it forces you to engage your core a bit. You MUST use your chest voice to do it, which is a placement Hybe seems terrified of. They're obsessed with that super-airy light sound that everyone is employing (which is a preference to some, I get it) but that's hard to support outside of the studio or being still. It's hard to keep that stable even WALKING, much less dancing. Chest voice is a different story, and it highlights a singers unique vocal color instead of making members sound very similar. I'm really hoping the HotnFun song made their producers and coaches realize how much more capable they are of maintaining pitch with that placement, and that strong vocals are actually very missed by the fans! I don't want to beat a dead horse, but it needs to be fix and it's more about Hybe's methods than the girls' talent and potential.

  • @DechiYT
    @DechiYT2 ай бұрын

    I agree that a lot of potential and talent gets wasted, because we have instances were the girls had good live vocals. Hype just wants to dominate the industry and doesn't mind sending their idols in bad situations instead of giving them prober preparations.

  • @monochromedout

    My problem is that every other fandom is acting like their group would have sounded so much better in that situation. I mean sure, they don't really dance and kind of more pose dance so they are at an advantage there. But every single group has a couple bright spots and a couple weak spots. It's the reality that denial won't mask. The fact that other companies would never ever let their raw vocals be heard with minimal backing track in a performance is where LE SSERAFIM was let down. Put Wonyoung, Karina, Soyeon, Yeji and Chaewon on a stage to dance and sing the same track. I'm picking Chaewon. Maybe LE SSERAFIM's problem was not labeling three of them rappers or dancers. Every group is autotune and pitch corrected to death so they all sound fine in their produced tracks. nMIXX and Mamamoo are the only solid top to bottom active ggs. And I think Babymonster will fall into this category. BlackPink and Twice certainly aren't even good singers as a whole.

  • @DechiYT
    @DechiYT2 ай бұрын

    Less than half of the major kpop groups could probably put out a great live vocal performance, of course most of them have at least 1 or 2 members that have good vocals. The problem arises, if the company will not prepare them, the internet will have their fun with that. It is obvious that Hype doesn't give a shit about their artists like a lot of other companies, otherwise they would try their best to prepare them for the moments they have to sing live.

  • @vixxexo6855

    You are delusional for saying Chaewon sounds better then Yeji. Itzy almost always sings live and they are very stable. In the sub vocals Yuna, Chaeryeong and Ryujin are stable. Yeji outsings Chaewon easily. Karina is also a better vocalist then Chaewon. Just compare Aespa’s Coechella to Le Sserafim. Soyeon despite being a rapper, is also a good vocalist. She always sings her vocal intro in Super Lady live.

    Im sorry but it doesnt matter if the group will have super talented well renowned vocal coach because if the producers and its staff dont stop over doing it with auto tune,voice enhancing techs,voice effects techs live performance with out backtrack will never ever be sound the same.Example if you listen to Le Sserafim unforgiven,fearless,antifragile and compare it it to their new songs like Easy,smart,perfect night you can tell the difference and how auto tune,voice enhancing techs are greatly used in their comeback album which is the real reason of LeSserafim backlash and problems....!

    I personally think it is hard to speculate, If you take Karina as an example a lot of fans very pretty sure she is a lesbian (or at least bi) and now it is disproven. I think it is more important to talk about Idols that are out in the open than speculating, if an idol is something. Of course I agree that some idols give some energy or said something that leads in a certain direction, but I still think we just shouldn‘t speculate out in the open, everyone can do it for themselves. I also think that there is a big difference how korean and international fans speculate about the sexuality of idols. At least from the things I have seen korean fans are more likely to say that idols are straight, while international fans are more likely to think idols are something else. It really doesn’t matter for most people, a lot of people like the representation that comes with it, but in general we should leave idols who keep in privat alone.

  • @luckymissy6255
    @luckymissy62553 ай бұрын

    @@DechiYT While I agree that speculation is wrong I think you didn't understand my point. These are things idols have clearly and openly stated, it is not a vibe or speculation. As an example, people will catch a passing sentence in otherwise unrelated content and understand what Yoongi means when he said "I have ADHD" and take it seriously but will ignore that he said he doesn't care about gender in an interview about his ideal type because homophobic fans wanna deny it. That's what I meant with fans choosing to be ignorant. And also it is just as wrong to assume that Karina is straight just because of her male partner. I am not saying she is anything, I'm just saying it's hypocritical that the people who preach about "not assuming someone's queerness" are the same people ok with assuming straightness. As a queer person myself I am really happy when I see idols who are brave enough to say things like this and that's it. I never once in my life assumed an idol's sexuality and I don't condone forced outing. I just wish fans would practice what they preach and stop assuming that idols are straight by default unless disproven. Just don't talk about their orientation at all unless they wanna talk about it (like the ones I listed did on their own will) It's not like I am hellbound on the idea of forcing idols out of the closet and in a perfect world a musician's sexuality wouldn't matter anyway but A) they weren't forcibly outed if they said those things willingly, B) the fact is that representation matters and the positive effects of that are proven by Holland, Bibi, Jiae etc. so even though most of the ones I listed weren't allowed to say "I'm queer" they still deserve to be heard and validated for having the guts to talk about their same sex attractions in other ways than a big traditional coming out.

    @@luckymissy6255 I miss worded some things in my first answer. So here a more simple way to put it, because English isn‘t my first language and some things can be misunderstood again. 1. I‘m not assuming that Karina is 100% straight, I just structured my sentence wrong. I didn‘t want to say that just because she was dating a man, she is not Bi or anything else. 2. I don‘t now If you included me in that statement, but I don‘t assume every Idol that didn‘t out themselves as straight. If it came across in that way I‘m sorry. 3. It‘s true that homophobic fans are a problem and that there are more idols who basically said or heavily implied, that they are into both genders. But I‘m still preferring just using idols as an example who openly stated that they are part of the lgbtqia+ community. Of course you can come to other conclusions. It of course takes a lot of guts to still state that you like both genders. But I wanted to include idols, that are More outgoing with this. Most people I’ve interacted with (as well as myself) will typically specify what type of asexuality they fall under. For example, I’m biro-ace (biromantic asexual). Based on Navinci’s statements, I believe he’s aro-ace. But I don’t think he discusses his orientation much. So, it’s hard to be 100% sure.

    Yeah, people already mentioned that Hansol and Navinci are the same persons. It's just happened that the sources I had always used one name and not both. And with the sexuality it can just get a little bit confusing.

    I really liked the introduction/history and your ending commentary. Too many people feel comfortable assuming idols' sexualities. Btw, on Hansol, romantic and sexual orientation are sometimes different. Some people experience romantic attraction, but no sexual attraction (asexual), and some people experience sexual attraction, but no romantic attraction (aromantic). I think Hansol meant that he doesn’t experience either one, which would make him aromantic-asexual, or aroace. So it makes sense he would use "asexual" as a broad term to describe his identity since it's more widely known

    First thank you for your complimenting my commentary. I get a little confused by the therms, because I'm not that knowledgable with them. But he calling himself asexuel to make it simpler is the most sensible option.

    The only main difference between them aren’t just that the three fits the kbs and the others don’t. There’s also a noticeable skill level difference. Notice how the other three are particularly known for being one of the top idols in their talents. Hwasa, whose a great singer and a performer, jihyo a good main vocalist, gets praised a lot for her dancing and never lacks in stage presence, soyeon who produces idle’s every song and is a standout rapper. What talent comes to mind immediately when you think of the other three? All i can think of is irene’s dancing, which is good but nothing outstanding for a lead dancer. The other things that come to mind is how jisoo has been criticized for her poor singing and dancing skills since debut and the same for wonyoung’s lacking vocals. Like snsd hyo once said “being an idol is about visuals rather than skills” You can easily make it in kpop if you have the right face but the other girls who aren’t as lucky have to stand out with their talent and skills to be talked about.

    I agree that the popularity of an Idol is hugely influenced by an Idols visual and if we are being for real, Kpop wouldn‘t function without Visuals. It‘s just weird that some Idols are being called ugly when they look perfectly fine. I think this is more often so with korean than western fans but still sucks.

    The song shortening trend is a thing because as time goes on, our attention span gets shorter. Also, having a short song makes it more likely that the person will listen to it again, thus increasing streams. When i listen to songs that are 4 minutes, i find myself at the halfway mark saying "this song should be finished soon" once i see that theres another 2 whole minutes, i change the song. I like the 2 minute trend personally :)

    Are you new to Kpop or something? Koreans pronounce their "R's" and "L's" a little different compared to English speakers so in the first place, please don't expect Soyeon, a native Korean who doesn't speak English, to pronounce the word precisely. Secondly, you are wrong about her correcting the members' pronunciation. She guides them how they want the lyrics to be sung such as suggesting to change the tone, mood, etc. I dare you give us a clip of her correcting other members' English pronunciation. She does correct Shuhua's Korean pronunciation but have you ever really seen her correct any member in English? No, because you're just hating on her.

    Personally, sharing my (limited, but sufficient) music theory and production knowledge, i think the song wouldnt work if it was longer. The song only had 1 chorus, and would def hit 3mins w an additional chorus. But where else could they put it other than before the banger edm drop? Imagine hearing that high powered chorus followed by the drop. Arguably putting it there wouldve taken away from the drop Longer drop? At 124bpm thatll be abt 14 seconds of electronic music (no vocals) Add a verse? U need 2, else itll be a lil weird imo Add a bridge? Its alr there.. Longer bridge? Maybe.. This isnt the usual run off the mill kpop and we shouldnt analyse it the same way. Lastly, im sure soyeon put in every ounce of effort and consideration when choosing between a longer song or that immaculate drop, and i commend her for it

  • @DechiYT

    For Super Lady it is harder to imagine a longer version thats right, but for me it's more about a general development over the last few albums and the decrease of runtime. Of course I can still enjoy the songs and most of it is an individual preference. I just think that it shouldn't be normalized making the majority of songs below 3 min. But as I said it is a personal preference, Soyeon is still the best 4 gen idol producer in my opinion.

  • @drizzo4669

    Seems like the ideal song length is about 3 minutes. If you search, you'll find some people on KZread who have made these songs longer, by repeating certain parts or by bring the vocals in earlier tgan the music. It works. This could be a sign of some creative burnout as Soyeon writes most of their songs She may not be receiving much help or lacks someone to give her a valuable second opinion. A little criticism.

  • @DechiYT

    This video was actually inspired by a fanmade longer version of super lady. I forgot to mention it in the video. It is possible that Soyeon getting a burnout, maybe they have to release a certain amount of albums because of their contracts. I also saw a video that said that they had to pay for their super lady mv themselves so, their could be a lot going on.
