  I lock the middle and leave the Sangles unlocked so that I can go in and out of the bag as needed. My H wallet is long so I store it the long way and everything important on the sides of the bag. Watch that the lock doesn’t scratch the leather. It did on one of my Birkens. Beautiful Bag enjoy

  Congrats on the B! A classic combination. Very happy that you got it authenticated by a third party like Bababebi. With second-hand items, there's no 100% guarantee, but at least you can be much more confident. If you start shopping w an SA, I recommend having a very precise idea of what you want before each visit if you're more price conscious. But h is not exactly the best brand for price conscious consumers 😅

  A fellow Hermes-loving lawyer! Take my sub! I am playing the H game right now and just was offered a Constance 18, with just over a year working with my SA and near about 1:1 spend. Unsure if telling my SA my profession scared her into offering me something with the lawsuit going on, but I’m not complaining! I’ve also purchased a Kelly from Fashionphile NYC flagship and a Birkin from Japanese eBay, and would never have gathered the courage to play the H game had I not dabbled in the more risky pre-loved market. So I may yet see you in my local H boutique yet!

  A Constance is not considered a quota bag. An Hermes SA is not like your regular SA. They offered you the Constance not because she’s “afraid” of your profession. That’s too presumptuous of you to think that way. I am not a lawyer but I get offered non quota bags with minimal pre spend. I also have a couple of quota bags from the same SA. You just need to be nice and respectful to your SA, like you want to be treated.

  @@layzeh3266 I don’t think the Constance is a quota bag, but it can be just about as hard to get in some locations. A great offer even if not technically quota!

  Lambskin is the crème de la crème when it comes to Chanel. It’s what makes it so luxurious looking. Caviar doesn’t give off that same luxurious vibe.

  Love it, makes me want to start my own KZread channel because my family members don't understand this strange obsession of mine. 🤣😆😅 Kudos to you. 🎉❤😊I have a so black patent mini reissue, I live in Vegas and I consider it my "drinking" bag for going out (especially with sloppy/clumsy friends drinking wine...😂). It is so versatile, functional and underrated. No problems with the patent so far. I got it in spring 2020. I don't worry even about getting it wet. I've never done anything to protect it either (spray wise). Did you keep it? And you got it for a great price, though patents and chevrons are usually less in price on the resale market. 🖤 I love the CC turnlock on it.

  No it doesn’t hold its value …especially if you use it and you have ware on the bag and you sell with commissions. People please understand bags are poor investments and depreciating assets such as cars

  You need to keep them for many years in order to make money. Example, if you bought a medium classic flap in 2003, you can sell it for 3x what you paid for.

  Depending on the use and how long one has it for, it can certainly hold its value. This is different than beating up the bag and trying to sell it the next year of course.

  I see many people have had Chanel nightmares in recent years, but i've seen even bigger nightmares. I know of a famous society shoemaker who sold someone shoes for 5 figures, and the alligator skin was falling apart. When asking for a refund the client received terrible treatment and still has no refund years later. I know of others who also received faulty shoes from that maker, but they aren't famous so they get treated as nuisances if they complain.

  What made you buy to black in caviar and lambskin? Also, do you find them different enough. Asking because I have the caviar but can’t stop thinking about the black lambskin. Trying to justify it since I do have the black lambskin square mini as well.

  I justified it by using the bags for different things -- the caviar for casual and the lambskin for dressy. That's not to say they can't be used the other way around, but this is how I justify it!!
