Something my first CFI taught me. I think it keeps everything a little more secure in the few moments that you have the Engine on but are not applying thrust.

Great question! I was just trying to show how slow I was flying and how it was taking me forever to get to the runway. If you look on my channel you will see a touch and go landing on the runway. Thank you!

Turning. This is probably more information than you want… pushing on the steering bar retards the lift on one side of the wing or the other by deforming the trailing edge. Best Hobby I’ve ever had! By the way, London is my favorite “European” city. You probably hate hearing that but while living in Belgium, it was always nice to visit.
