Haha. This is really scary shit. I graduated UPT in 1969 before heading to Vietnam for a couple of years. The most important part of the day was the Stag Bar, which probably doesn’t even exist anymore. From there, we could watch the local college girls coming through the doors of the O Club. As my IP said, “Better get out there and cut one out of the herd, boys”.
I went through UPT in 1968. Our class leader was a Marine Captain who had graduated from the Naval Academy, selected for Marines and went to Vietnam. He was a LRRP leader (Long Range Recon Patrol). He had jumped out of a helo and fractured his back, resulting in months of hospitalization. After his rehabilitation, he decided to go into aviation and was sent to the USAF training program. The rest of the class was Air Force 2nd Lieutenants. Capt Hart (Capt James Hart) would lead us on long runs in the early morning. Then a rigorous PT routine. Often he would inspect us, with a riding crop under his arm and in full Marine Corps dress uniform. He was an amazing spectacle. Once, when inspecting one of the USAF 2nd Lieutenants, he asked, “Lieutenant Hadlow, did you shine your boots with a Hershey Bar”. God rest James Hart, USMC. A great American.
Great story! Thanks for sharing. just graduated UPT, proud to serve!
That's correct, U.S. Army Air Force.
Back in the day you worked the Main Gate by yourself, in your blues with an M9 & a Motorola Sabre radio. No rifle, no plate carrier, no fun.
👍👍👍
Thank you!!
It’s a large career field so it ends up being a ymmv situation. It was great for me. Four years active, another 17 in the guard. It directly led to me getting into federal LE (USMS). No complaints.
What a cool guy!
I’ll make less then a couple minutes “It fucking sucks” Haha
TUNERO Y CUBANO , QUE BIEN , FELICITACIONES !!!!! Dios te bendiga !!!
I thought this was a sketch from wooh comedy lmao
The desert skull T38 is the coolest American aircraft paint job
My dad is a painter on base and he paints jets and planes
You should do an update on this fine young lady. Let us know how she is doing!
Started on A-models. Still working on them.
Joseee.... you are so funny!!!
I love this video.. so exiting 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
All I can say is: I just want to hug your dad! What a brave courageous soul, to stand up to communism and parent such a phenomenal son in the process of transitioning to America. And thank you for your service! That's what I'm talkin' about!
This job sucks
Why
@@alanshearer3682 security forces is a poorly manned career field and if the base ur stationed at doesn’t have enough manpower, you’ll be working 12-14 hours shifts with no lunch breaks. Keep in mind that everybody in the military gets paid the same amount of money so you’ll be working all of those hours being security forces and getting paid the same amount as someone who only works 8 hours a day and gets 1 hour lunch breaks. My best advice for you is to stay away from this career field and choose wisely.
40 years ago for me! Loved it then and now!
So i agree with you 😊
He os so funny and great to watch
i am 16 and i live outside the USA but i am dreaming to serve in the USAF
You have to be a United States citizen to serve
ᴘʀᴏᴍᴏsᴍ ?
af COPS WHAT A JOKE LMAO
If you have to keep saying your job is important chances are your job isn't important
Thank you youtube for this recommendation.
Why is he wearing his pt jacket unzipped 🤦♂️
You really took time out of your day to call out an AFI on KZread 💀
6 years active duty SP in the 80s and I was fortunate that for my second assignment I ended up at base in Europe with a lot of unique opportunities, so I got to do some really cool sh*t. Bu that cool sh*t aside, most of the time was cold, boring, and sleepy because the majority of the duty for Airmen is standing a gate or ECP somewhere. Once you made NCO it got a little better with more mobile vehicle assignments available, but until then you'll be counting rivets and checking badges.
Sounds like nothing changed.
does anyone know the job as an officer in security forces what do they do that enlisted don't do.
officers will never be on patrol or do anything that enlisted do unless they really want to get out of the office however this disrupt the enlisted members attention from their job and can be a distraction. For the most part they're only Admin in offices and the commander unless you're an LT, then you will lead a flight for maybe a year.
Lucky for all of us here you made the choices you have. We need the laughs these days ;)
Jose is an awesome comedian. If you haven't seen him you should.
Congratulations to you all and a sincere thank you for taking on these rewarding yet difficult and dangerous roles to help defend our nation.
Watching your standups then seeing you speak in your professional capacity 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏💯💯💯💯
My boy smiley ain’t not way 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿 we was in high school
Beeeep. Have a good day sir.
Why do people hate the USAF SF so much when they are literally the same as the MP units from the other branches? Like SF is just military police that also do security. Freaking Navy MPs are called MA's and they literally do the same work as SF, force protection and LE. Army MPs do the same shit, force protection and LE. Marine MPs do the same, force protection and LE. CG ME's do the same force protection and LE. Literally the only thing that's different is the backdrop. SF you work on airbases, CG/Navy you work around ships and ports. wow what a difference.
@@captaineric5276 hit the head on the nail … couldn’t explain it better
This dude has some serious ego problems...definitely hates his job and has to constantly stroke his ego.
Awesome
Thank you for your service. God bless.
