i think she agrees to the "symbolic" hunger games at first because she is blinded, tunnel visioned in her anger and need for revenge. katniss has always been the type to need to exact a revenge and always only in the name of someone she cared about, since book one. she decides to avenge prim (and inadvertently rue too) thinking it was snow who bombed the capitol kids that also killed prim. then when snow levels with katniss and tells her that coin bombed the kids and prim and how "she intends to take his place" that's when she remembers the conversations she had with boggs, plutarch (book only) and even haymitch (book only) and about coin and the kind of woman she is really is and everything comes into view for katniss. again she had to redirect her shift on "who the real enemy is" this time being coin. so in sacrificing her revenge on snow she decide to end to cycle there and then by killing coin. which also explains why she was going to kill herself until peeta stopped her, she couldn't just kill the new "interim" president and get away with it. and i think haymitch just agreed with katniss cause he trusts her intuition. i sincerely don't think katniss thought too hard or long about killing coin, it was mostly an impulse, exactly like all the other times she did something that shocked the world, reacting on emotion.
I just read the book (not seen the movie) and I was just disappointed. All I want from this series is to know about the beginning of the war, how it effected the districts, how the war was lost and then how the Hunger Games started. So many books could have come from this. If there can be so many irrelevant characters in this book, then why not focus on the actual world building first with other characters? It would make sense to cover a young Snow and even a young Coin for good measure as the timeline progressed. Maybe that's my autistic mind liking order, but I don’t hate the book. I just don't enjoy it as much as the other 3.
4:36 there's actually three ganondorfs: ocarina of time, four swords adventures, and tears of the kingdom. We don't see the male gerudo being born because in most games, there's already one alive
Interesting! I thought in four swords adventures that’s just Ganon. Haven’t played it though, so I’ll look into it!
@@TheGeekApprentice FSA comes after twilight princess where ganondorf dies so it can't be the same one as that game and dialogue talks about a male gerudo called ganondorf being alive at a similar time. You only see him as a beast in game but he was a different gerudo

@@mememan5466 Maybe I misunderstood what you said, I thought you were saying the game mentioned a gerudo male but not necessarily that he was presently alive. Actually, would you mind telling me where I could find this whole dialog? :D
I played Banjo Kazooie when I was in elementary school, so I ranked Rusty Bucket Bay, SOL Test. Grunty surely made it seem like it during the showdown...
What sadden me the most is that plenty of Zelda fandom hate this game because they want the first official Zelda game from Nintendo starring the Princess herself to have beautiful graphics and deep mature complex storytelling and not a kiddy game like Link's Awakening remake. Plus they also hate the gameplay and they want Princess Zelda to be a strong warrior wielding a sword and destroying monsters like a female warrior similar to aloy from ps. Weird indeed.
I have a theory, since Link is already done with the dungeons at the beginning of the game, I think there’s a possibility we have another time loop in the timeline lol, what if that scene with Ganon is the beginning and the ending of the game, and that’s why we have to save Link so he can do stuff in the dungeons in the past to save Zelda and prevent the rifts from happening again?
I really hope we get another male Gerudo in this game since it's kinda wild that Ganondorf is the only one we ever got. If TotK is anything to go off of though, maybe Ganon's existence will prevent that from happening.
Glad I’m not the only one who interpreted the whole “Link will be playable” thing as them actually just stating how Zelda play differently than Link’s usual sword & shield. Like the whole focus of the game is that you get to play as Zelda- wouldn’t getting to play as Link kinda diminish that? Idk like don’t get me wrong i love the idea of a Zelda game where you get to swap between the two- but can we let Zelda have a turn in the spotlight first?
I wonder if Tri will play an important role in the story? Tri gives Zelda a very important item called the Tri Rod to create echoes of items. But I'm curious if they are important person in disguise? Or they are actually just a fairy that's been sent by another mysterious person? I guess we'll have to wait and find out.
I'm calling it now, Zelda will be able to conjure up the Light Bow by the end.
@@luisyera2330 she probably won't have to use the Tri rod for that. She has three empty dpad slots for items like the bow of light

That's more or less how I feel about games like Metroid Prime Remastered and Pikmin 4. They seem like masterpieces from a game design perspective... but I'm just bad at them.

My biggest question about EoW is the timeline placement. It looks like this takes place in the downfall timeline, but there are things we never saw in the downfall timeline before like Gerudos. I think there’s a small chance that EoW will be the game that merges the three timelines together.
Koume and Kotake appear in the Oracle games and they are Gerudo.
There's no reason for the gerudo not to exist in the downfall timeline since they exist in ocarina of time. They were probably in hiding deep in the desert because I'm not sure how nice the other races would be to them
I get the impression Sonia and Zelda have some relation to the Gerudo, they have the same Green Eyes. Where as Rauru, The Ancient Hero and Link have blue eyes. Like the Shieka having red eyes resembling that of the people of Low-rule as well as Vaati. Sonia and the Ancient Hylians also have a tan, but it isnt as prominent as the Gerudos and not as light as the Hylians The Ancient hero has body paint/ markings similar to the barbarian armor, although its just like Sonia's . Just like the Heros aspect armor being a 3 in 1 armor set. I think the Ancient Hero is Zonai, Hylian & Gerudo. After Raurus death, the Calamity came, the Ancient Hero and one of Hylia's descendants sealed it away and it was recorded on the tapestry.
