Where ideas can hang out and do whatever!
This KZread channel is mostly about the Nintendo Entertainment System. I've been collecting for it since the Super Nintendo came out and my friends abandoned their NES cartridges. Damn, that was 30 years ago! As I got closer to a complete set, I started cataloging and writing about the best games on my website: Top100NESgames.com
After years of focusing on the best games for the NES, I decided to change gears and focus on lesser known cartridges that have, for one reason or another, generally escaped the public discussion and general nostalgia. The "NES GAMES NO ONE PLAYED" series highlights many of the relatively unknown titles in the NES library. There's also videos on the best 2-player co-op games, the PAL exclusives library, & obscure sequels to popular titles.

Didn't know that people still made awful Nintendo Nerd knockoff videos like this. The game looks fine, this guys outrage is embarrassing.
I remember playing this when I so young (5 years old) but never knew what the name was. thank you 🤓
Medevil Kelly kapasoki that almost makes it worth it. but... still no 😂
I loved the first two and surely would have played this.. but elitist 10 year old me wouldn't touch NES after getting an SNES... I surely missed out.
I remember playing this game, i still got IRON SWORD for NES here at my house. I still got abit of games from the past.
I had the first T&C surf game. I knew to have nothing to do with this game.
I definitely tried this one weekend as a kid and thought it was a neat idea. The reality was not nearly so worth the time, hence one weekend only.
I had this game. My mom bought it for me without my knowledge. It was ok but eh
Fun fact about the 3 versions of TMNT tournament fighters. Every version has at least one character not found in the other versions.
Whoa cool!
I just discovered this channel today. Is there a full version of the song at the beginning of the video? It sounds like something B.B. King would have played.
It's from Mr Show with Bob and David and a sketch called "Jeepers Creepers".
The original Soulslikes
I literally forgot about this cartoon growing up until It started playing the theme song then I was singing along to James Bond Jr 😆
God it's so catchy!
A 1984 game called Impossible Mission (I played the crap out of it as a kid on my Commodore 64) was perhaps the first game I played that was kind of like Metroid before Metroid was even developed. You didn't have power ups but you did get this pass cards to manipulate any given room. You had to search for puzzle pieces in every object in every room and you had only six hours to do it. Every time you die a certain amount of mins was taken off your time so you had to be careful. There's more too it but I won't spoil anything. If you ever get interested in it, avoid the NES version. Grab a Commodore 64 emulator and play that version. It's simpler than Metroid and not near as big but you might make the same connection I did. Plus the animation of your character is very very impressive. Might have been rotoscoped.
I've only played the NES version is it really different?
@@BigOleWords It is but mostly by look and feel. I think the game mechanics are different too. I loved it on the C64 but I tried it a couple of times on the NES and didn't like it. Epyx games just never translated well on the NES for some reason.
I think the same about this as others: amazing graphics and music, but too hard for the wrong reasons, and obscure moves. And could just use a quick once over by capcom or konami to clean up those rough patches like the switch in gravity in the jumps. Its very good, but it could be great.
Agreed!
What game is that at 1:51 ? It looked like an updated version of Legend of Kage. If so, I'd like to play it.
Zen the Intergalactic Ninja. I reviewed it here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/f2iho7t9g67Aqps.htmlsi=tGssJWiQEujLUndl
@@BigOleWords Thanks. Just found your channel last night. I like your content.
When I used to get disks from a store for a week, I got this game one time. Honestly I liked it, but I do agree the first part is better. I am not sure why the occasional flickers happen only in this part of the series, maybe they just couldn't fit the whole code safely.
I've never heard anyone refer to them as disks, I love it!
@1:55- Poochie... Nooo! (Awww, Fonzie, why?
Laser in sprint
Imagine if Dance Aerobics had gotten Jane Fonda to put her likeness in the game, and had her market it to older middle aged women in 1988. Since she sold workout videos until 1995 there definitely might be have enough moms out there to have bought it randomly.
Huh that probably would've sold a million Power Pads for sure.
I got this game from a Nintendo power magazine when I was a kid . For years I've been trying to figure out what the name of it was . I could remember liking the game , just couldn't remember the damn name. Thank you
You got it!
It is truly an amazing game, and one which leaves you dumbfounded with the ingenuity of its puzzles.
It's so good.
@@BigOleWords 👍🙂
The graphics in this game are really good though. Shame it is such a pain to play.
It really does look amazing.
love that intro! Mr. Show fan here. 🤣
I was on the 18th hollllleeeee!
Great video! Just came across your channel and subscribed lots good videos .. I enjoy bunch these games just went thru Rygar for the fun of it the other day cause hadn't played it in awhile. The Nes is my favorite system of all time. Goonies II was fun as well. I'll tell u another game that plays like Goonies II that fun and flys under the radar imo as far as Nes games if you like Goonies II that's Dr Chaos fun game 🎮
Dr. Chaos is my nemesis! Some day I'll sit down and review it fully.
Hi, I'm No One.
EVO, King Arthur's Quest, SNES had some great obscure games too.
For sure!
I thought I was the only one who thought losing all of your weapons and power ups when you die once was bullshit. Some of these games were so hard that the only way you can beat them was to have full power ups for your character. I honestly just chose to reset the game and re-get the power ups.
It makes you really appreciate the shooters that balanced the difficulty a bit.
Someone somewhere played this...I don't know where I don't know who but someone played it somewhere.
I'm amused by the implication that we're expected to be familiar with "Team America: World Police" but not "Thunderbirds." It's something like introducing "Toy Story" by way of "Sausage Party."
One of my favorite game from my childhood. Soundtrack is soo good.
I played this game.
Man your wall of NES cartridges is impressive 😁
Smells Like Choppy Spirit 👀🎮👄
Looks like zen intergalactic ninja
W for wide?
I liked Plucky the best
I played the first one in this series a lot but I never knew there was another one.
I think those massive lasers are giant tanks.
W is Spread because that's the shape when the gun is fired.
That Game was so hard, all stages were difficult, I played Bloodborne, it was a hard Game but not in the level of this Tiny Toon 2.
I remember playing this at a friends house we both thought it sucked. Oddly I think we played it on the track pad. Can’t remember been 100 years.

I just got this game in a lot I purchased. It’s the stand out game, and I’m happy to have it now.

It looks like the creators never played it or dont play games, like they just said we want this to be challenging so just hurry up and put a bunch of obstacles out there on the screen with no rhyme or reason; chaos... Which is what makes it kind of an interesting game funny enuff.
Played the rom when I was a kid was a lot of fun
This game kicked up the 4d 3d 3d 3.
