I experimented with the Asian style high draw. Meant for super heavy war bows. I was astonished at how light the draw felt. It does spread the work over more muscles, but it's very easy to do it incorrectly and it didn't take long for my shoulder to let me know. Thankfully that was just an abused and angry muscle, no permanent damage. I've recently started experimenting with the Howard Hill style, or at least something approaching it. It's a push and pull style starting with the bow low. The bow arm comes up just before you reach your anchor, complete the draw and release. The hold isn't long at all and it doesn't even look like the shooter is aiming when done correctly. I also like to shoot with the bow canted just a bit. It gives me a better sight picture and doesn't affect accuracy as long as I'm high on the grip. I saw the reason for a high grip demonstrated on another channel. It made sense and it works for me. Have a great day👍

I had shoulder pain in the left arm (I’m a right handed shooter too). And I just do every rotator cuff and shoulder mobility stretch I can find, and pick one to do before every time I shoot now. It seems to have really helped.

Works great! I started with a box below my knees so I couldn't go down very far at first. Before I got that idea my first attempts hurt my shoulder a bit. Over time I lowered the height of the box so I could go further and further, and my shoulder is fine. Baby steps! I also bought rubber tubing made to insulate pipes at Home Depot to make softer grips for my old hands. I'm 72! Thanks for the post.

Amazing clip. KZread is wonderful for this form of thing. My homeboy had been bullied. He said he was intending to get bigger muscle and strength. I laughed... Til out of thin air he added 40 pounds of complete muscle. He tried the Muscle Building Bible - Google it. He doesn't get bullied these days. I actually registered the other day. And the mans emails are fucking excellent!

These have a 300LB limit, trust me, walkers are not meant to be easily broken! And for around 25.00$ new on eBay, you can't beat that, unless you want to spend 250.00$ on a dip station

Have you tried weighted dips on this? You can use those bathroom grab rails for pullups, they make 135° bent ones too for ergonomic chinups.
