Rise of the Resistance is a great ride but committing to it with all the technical difficulties can be tough. Looking forward to seeing if the single rider line works out for it. We do single rider all the time for Millennium Falcon and it works great. Almost never more than a 10-15 minute wait. We are looking at doing a Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom this year since we are now local. I can't remember if you all did one, but if so, did you think it was worth the money? It looks like a great experience. Love the video as always!
@@Nyboel yea it does go down often. It even went down when Kerry had her LL. We have done one, but it was before KZread. We loved it! We would go this route before we do Jollywood Nights again. Thanks for watching as always!

So bummed about the fruit waffles! That was my favorite food item in MK, hands down. Also feels kinda weird that they're doing so many refurb projects in the middle of summer, but maybe that's just me. Haha. Super fun to see the fireworks from the Peoplemover. How does it work with strollers?
@@msm2267 are you referring to the rides? If so, each ride attraction has dedicated stroller parking areas. Disney is actually pretty good with this. If you leave your stroller not in an approved spot then a cast member will move it when you are on the ride.

We have stayed in All Star Movies and All Star Sports. We were in Toy Story and Hoops Hotel. Great trips at both for wonderful memories with our grandchildren. all in their twenties now. Thank you for the trip down memory lane.
Thanks for sharing! We love hearing stories like this. I'm sure things have changed a little since then around Walt Disney World, but the hotels here (minus guest rooms) are like a time capsule I feel. A wonderful feeling.

@@magicalfam This is my 5th All Star stay and 3rd Sports stay. I always get a preferred room. Being closed to everything makes life so much easier. Surf's Up is probably my favorite area.

Its our favorite water park!
Stayed there last year. Not our favorite deluxe to stay at. However as a local more often than not, I do tend to hangout here a ton as part of resort hopping.

I was there too on opening day, I thought the ride was really good and an improvement from Splash Mountain, only problem was the space of the props and animatronics

I stayed at the Palmer House many years ago and loved it very much and I also ate lunch at the Drake Hotel with Apple executives that called us and wanted to see what we were doing at Gamemaster. I remember eating Bookbinder soup. There were several magazine articles about what we were doing developing a whole new client interface and a company that was lightyears ahead of everyone else (even Facebook). I still have that totally now-devalued Gamemaster stock that someday I will frame and hang on the wall in my office. ♦️(PS regarding my business stay at the Palmer House … I remember treating myself to somewhere on the top one or two floors where I procured a room and it was an “executive level” floor, where they had treats available, fresh coffee, and the WSJ. I was able to connect with other guests who had also chosen to stay on that “special” floor too. I have very fond memories of my stay at the Palmer House.
Thank you for sharing your stories!! I’m sure you remember that lunch with Appel executives like it was yesterday. The Palmer House invented the concept of “executive level”. It’s evolved over the years but it’s like a concierge level now days. Of the 3 The Palmer House is my favorite with the most memories.
