Great video !
Need Stumpy in a Thin-Spin. Cerise butt, chrome body and chartreuse head. Ok, take a look at the 2014 iFish "Parker' K-15. :). Great video, Cory. Glad to see no fun was had at all by you and your crew.
gotta watch the "no limit" approach. We want a sustainable fishery. In the midwest (most places) you can keep 4 walleye.
Where is part two?
Looks like a blast!
Your in MY NECK OF THE WOODS now!! Im a dedicated SOCKEYE fisherman and we are already out fishing SOCKS and the fishing IS GREAT THIS YEAR ALREADY!! Getting 2 to 4 socks per day ALREADY!!
Season opens July 1. This video was released June 28th 2024. What year was this?
I appreciate you showing the highs and lows of fishing!
Too bad about the closure today
Sir, what gear ratio is best for lake trout? Higher gear ratio is best?
Where'd you launch your boat at, on the East side.
Nice to see you helping people out bro! Curious where you 1st saw this? I have been trying to get it out there for a few years now. That's a cheater bro, I set mine up the same way, but way easier to tie up, I use a #4hook and 12 cheater set up to float just perfectly above there eyes and tip of face. a corky floats a little lower than the cheater and is almost perfectly round, so I use the actual corky on days that the barometric pressure are bad and fish are down lower and to the shallow sides of the river. I have been helping people online and in person doing this for 4 years now, my KZread channel has got thousands doing that now, the feed back has been as expected, massive positive feedback lots of happy fisher people! An actual corky would sink a little lower on the swing with that hook.I use this with bobber and eggs too. I use eggs or add scent to it to entice a strike as well as the hook being small, when swinging becomes the leading tip, and grabs the face or the maxilla bone if they don't strike at it making it an extremely high odd fish catching set up! Fun to watch people slaying fish without yanking there arms off with giant hooks.
Love these bags!
When using the snap weight, how far out do you let the line out after snapping the weight on? Thanks...
Officer Hayes is amazing!
What size corky do you use to keep the worm floating?
What’s the reservoir?
Thanks for sharing this video cody.i love walleye fishing.i mostly like trolling deep diving plugs but a worm harness is my second favorite way.Question tho....what's the idea behind the spin n glo on the bottom bouncer?? Is it an actractant? Thanks again 👍
👍👍👍
Cody's the perch king
Why hasn't washington do a vid the same ther used to be a show called rugged justice miss that show
I've seen stuff while living up in the upper Abernathy Creek area years ago when I lived in WA. Game Wardens took a while, and invariably too late to get there to see the poaching party of people when I did call for "blatant crimes." Oregon/Washington has a lot of back country. I never did get to bag any big game since I quite hunting after a few years unsuccessfully by myself vs large groups of other hunters that I came across in my area. It simply become too scary unless you hunted in a large group/pack. I'm sure most of us who have hunted the area know this. Meanwhile, I would cringe when I got checked while plunking, or my boat was checked at the local ramp on the Columbia. Props to those 2 States' Wildlife officials who have to study daily the changes in regulations, rules, political policies. Heck, it was getting scary to even hunt for Chantrel mushrooms with my family. Keep the vids coming. I miss the PNW
Great job officer Hayes. He does an awesome job protecting Oregon’s wildlife.
Do you reckon this vertical jigging setup and technique would be effective for trophy browns as well?
Is that music from Shawshank Redemption?
Love your channel. Going on a trip to do this very soon! Looks like so much fun
You want to wear the plastic side towards you and on your body because that protects you from their sharp spines the surf perch sea bass all of those things will puncture your waders
Need to get Buzz to get the Buzz Ramsey Air Rods BACK INTO PRODUCTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the informative video. It looked like a good day on the water. It seems that the main reason to suggest limiting retention of a non native species that eats Salmon smolts is to protect the revenue of guides selling Walleye trips and tackle manufacturers selling gear. Neither of these pursuits are bad but as someone that has a vested interest in Salmon fishing, how did you come to your stance on this issue?
Excellent vid man.. my home water !
great video, nice boat, awesome fishing crew!!
The Kokanee fishing has been good?
Caught my pb under a dock at my local marina it was a huge smallmouth probably 4 almost 5 pounds here at the umatilla marina
Gotta Love it!!!

The pilot strain was found in Utah, FYI
Nice job Cody. It's been many years but you had me as a guest via phone on Outdoor GPS for a musky segment. I really enjoy how you captured the ups and downs of musky fishing along with the history of tiger musky stocking as well. This might very well be the best video/information on muskies in the Pacific Northwest. Many other videos seem ego driven but you seem more humble and genuine. Anyhow, I'm rambling but nicely done out there and good luck on the water this season.
The last 5 years or so I've been taking my boat across the bar and getting into this bottom fishing. What a blast! So far my personal best ling is 22# on the fish checker's scale haha.
Nice. Another "bucket list" type of place to fish.
Thanks
Nice video, short and to the point but also elaborative enough.
Do you recommend offsetting the hook when using coon shrimp and spin glow?
What rod you using on the led core rods 😊
If you don't mind sharing, what lake is that? Beautiful.
Great video Cody and Scott. Thanks for posting this. Love that lake.
Cream puff for the win
Bass fishing is super underrated in the NW!
You all do fly trips?
Are you fishing small coastal lakes right near ocean. Like in Rockaway Beach, Oregon. ?
Looks like you guys had a very good time, but man they are small. They are catching some 16-18 inch Kokanee in Lake Chelan now. You might want to try from some bigger ones some time.
