  You should be able to still share files as you are not just calling in. That said sharing large files may run into issues if bandwidth is the reason you are using this feature in the first place.

  It’s really more of a workaround than a real solution. The screen recording is picking up what comes in via the Chromebook microphone. The only way to have the remote person be louder is to increase the volume on your Chromebook. Even then it’s never going to be as good as when you record on a Mac or PC.

  Isn't using multiple sets of paper dificult to keep straight during a competetive debate?

  Debates often jump around in later speeches. Performing (and asking your opponents to) road map their arguments lets you setup up your flows in the order they need to be for the next speech. Then as each speech moves forward you can simply turn the page as the next argument comes up. Alternative methods of using large sheets of paper often create a situation where you have to spend precious time trying to figure out where you are on the flow. Simply put multiple sheets lets you configure your flows for each speech of the debate.

  My two biggest laptop regrets: buying a macbook and buying a chromebook. Positive about the macbook was it never crashed... although the screen froze periodically (a kinder, gentler crash than a Windows laptop).

  Hi, thanks for the video. Before starting a call, if I go into the video settings and check "hide self view", will it keep me hidden all the time by default, without having to set it during a call? I have bad body dysmorphia so I can't bear to see myself even for a second

  Wait, is this the University of Arizona Global Campus textbook? It's Chapter 7 in our literature and then it's Group Problem Solving Procedures, which is your Chapter 7, but Chapter 8 and Chapter 9 are Managing Small Group Conflict Productively. Is that your chapter 8?

  The Policy Debate Manual by Dr. Joe Bellon. You can find free PDF's of it online, but we used that as our textbook in my Argumentation/Debate class in college.

  Nerves are normal and can even be a good thing. Best strategy is to get as much practice as you can. Consider asking a friend to watch you in person (this way you also get practice speaking to a live audience). Reconceptualizing "public speaking" as something more like a conversation also helps a lot of people.

  Unless your professor has disabled multiple submissions, all you need to do is click "new attempt" and resubmit. Unfortunately not all professors allow for resubmissions.
