    I saw AC DC in the 80's, 90s and noughties. We all love these guys but I'm not going to pay huge money to see them especially when Brian is struggling. Watched a number of recent tour clips and he just hasn't got it anymore. If this was one of my top 5 bands sure I would pay the money. Lovely bloke and great band and I wish them all the best. Fantastic to see them still going out there giving the fans what they want, die hard rockers and they have my full respect.

    I think you've gave a very fair review...its obvious Brian is struggling with certain tracks but overall it appears the majority of the songs and gigs he's doing pretty good and looks like hes having a blast. Got 3 shows coming up(2 at Wembley and Dublin)and I'm pretty bloody excited but do absolutely accept we are getting a somewhat "diluted" version of the band which I find acceptable considering the reasons as to why. Great channel mate👍

    Agree with everything you said. Also, smartphones have DESTROYED the concert experience, the crowd cannot reach "critical mass" (the point at which even self-conscious people let go and dance/headbang/sing) because too many people are filming instead of partying.

  • @metalandrockzone
    @metalandrockzoneКүн бұрын

    @@metalandrockzone You have got it! It's a fundamentally selfish act, I am pretty tall and I still had my view obstructed by phones held high in the air, the shorter people have no chance to enjoy the show. This is a huge question which needs an answer, we should no accept that this is the way things are now, we need ideas and solutions to keep phones out of the way!

    The synchronization of the screen and sound is only possible at one point due to the different speeds of sound and light. In large venues, there is a main sound system hung on the stage and several distributed systems (called delay lines) that need to be delayed. Otherwise, people close to the delay line will hear the sound from it first, and then, after some time depending on the distance, the sound from the stage. Therefore, the signal at the delay line must be precisely adjusted according to the distance. The only solution is to have separate screens hung at the delay lines with the video signal delayed accordingly to match the sound from the delay line. However, if there are large screens on the stage that are visible from a great distance, even from behind the delay line, it is physically impossible to synchronize them. It is similar to seeing lightning and then hearing the thunder afterwards.

    David Coverdale of Whitesnake is worse sadly & he had a wonderful voice, now completely shot. I grew up as a teenager in the late 70s & early 80s, now aged 60 but still a fan of those bands I grew up listening to & then going to watch live. I was a massive fan of AC/DC, I grew up with the Bon Scott era, which is still my favourite period, I didn't get the chance to see them live back then but I have seen them several times over the years since, the 1st time was in 1981 age 18 when they headlined the monsters of rock festival, now Download, I was also able to take one of my sons nearly 30 years later to see them headline again at Donnington in 2012. I would rather remember those bands as they were rather than as they are now!

  • @metalandrockzone
    @metalandrockzone2 күн бұрын

    Yes but what David Coverdale has done has worked out in the way that he has these 2 keyboard players who are amazing singers, specially one of the Dino Jelusick and they pick up what he has no chance of doing. So the show doesn't suffer. Saw Whitesnake 2 times in recent years with this setup and it was great.
