This makes me want to deploy again. I'm a USAF Supply guy and our job is a lot different than infantry but the whole deployment aspect and lifestyle out there was so simple and streamlined. I love it. Unfortunately my command is holding off our deployments indefinitely until further notice. :(

My experience with Marines has been they got out were they transfer to the army. Mainly because the Marines wooden back them up when it came down to in. They shame you when you're about to join and then they shame you when you're on your way out because of circumstances out of your control. Whereas the army, will take you in and bombard you with Annoying stuff

Marines know who they want and they know how to get them. Most Marines probably went straight to the recruiters knowing what they wanted and signed right up anyway. The recruiting and retention numbers among the branches speak for themselves 😂

I remember on my first day, I got sent to a company and I met my new team leader. I had just gotten a hair cut but i didn't know about fades so i got a high and tight. The guy looked at me and said, "Nice high and tight, wierdo.". As he was checking my paperwork, he would literally roll his eyes at every fucking thing I said. He was a total fucking asshole. Then at the last minute, i got moved to a new company, because they needed numbers. I met this guy at the new company, who sounded like a stereotypical surfer bro. He comes up to me and goes, "What's up man, I'm (name). Where you from, dude?". Turns out we were from the same state. "Woah, that's really cool, man.". So on and so on. I was assigned to him that day as his first soldier ever. I still love that guy and thank god I narrowly escaped the dick head.

I remember walking into meps and everyone was rather nice to people but then there were the marine part of meps yelling at all their recruits and thought damn they aren’t even at basic yet glad I didn’t join them lol
I had a marine be all up I’m my business cause I wanted to join the navy ! Never got to sadly but I always remember this big marine and this tall navy recruiters be like he’s mine no he’s mine ! Like I was some sort of prize! I basically could’ve done 20 pull up’s at once lift 126lbs , run the mile in 7 minutes 47 seconds, could swim with 75lbs on me and not even lose a breath! I was in JROTC in high school, and I wanted to be in the navy but the marine guys wanted some as well lol

My name is Dean Arnoldussen and I wasn't recruited i join the Marines because they had the coolest Uniforms the Dress Blues and to leave my past abuse, fire, car accident knock unconscious for a hour and bleeding out 1.2 GPA nobody in school WORSE AND THE BEST TIME OF MY LIFE

I signed up for the marines and when I was considering my options I enter the recruiting station my recruiter was just chilling on the couch vaping chilling with another recruiter and saw me enter and was so chill and when I ask I was considering about joining but more joining for the army he said “yeah you right you probably be too much of a bitch to join the marines” and now I’m here
My son is in his 3rd week in training for the Marines. Graduated High School and my Monday was in San Diego. We didn’t even get to celebrate his 18th birthday ❤. I’m so proud of my boy.

🤣 this is so accurate 😂 SHORT STORY: I am actually really fit and have two degrees and I went to the marine recruiter and he was asking me questions and said I would score high on the ASVAB (I got a 91) then asked me questions about my strength and overall fitness, both recruiters were impressed and told me I would be guaranteed any job I wanted, but I went to talk to the other branches and asked questions to all my friends and family. I ended up going Air Force 😂 When I saw the marine recruiter he asked what happened to joining the marines and I told him what happened and he seemed upset and told me “you woulda made a good marine and got whatever job you wanted, sucks to be you” 💀 I was honestly speechless but yeah 😂 this video is accurate
