Jazz and blues vocalist Shoshana Bush, armored with her West coast sensibility, lives in New York in order to further explore the relationship of jazz in the city. Singing renditions influenced by Nina Simone, Blossom Dearie and Ahmad Jamal, Shoshana chooses songs and creates her arrangements based upon her instincts as a storyteller and her multi-genre love of music.

Hi Everyone! I am the writer of the lyrics to Think of One - they were written in the early 1990s and first recorded by Frank Carlberg and Christine Correa on an album called Ugly Beauty. Ms. Bush made one error - the line is "love in the sun, thinking of one".

I just heard a band play this tune recently where I sat in and wanted to know if a vocal version existed. I looked up the origin of lyrics for this tune (how I found your video) by Fleurine Verlopp, but could not find her actual words. Would love to hear you sing the rest and find out how to get the full lyrics, if you're willing to share. I sing a little--even though I'd probably be way too scared to try this tune out in public.
