Enjoyed the lesson thank you
This has to be one of the most inaccurate videos on the English language I have ever come across. We do not use tall if it's higher than wider. O:58 My camera is 65cms TALL and it is 115cms wide. 1:04 People can be both tall and high. A 2m person stood on the top of a ladder is tall and high. 1:28 My camera example, again. Also, the walls, fence and mountains are tall when measured from the bottom to the top and high when we focus on the distance from the ground to the top of the item. Check out my channel for the video on High, tall and long for the correct difference - and never watch any of these videos ever again!
I have a question It's ...likely that this novel will win a literally prize. options: a. totally b. deeply c. strongly d. highly they looks so samiliar. I have no idea which one is correct
Thanks! I love the rule of replacing "he" or "him" with "who" or "whom". That is very helpful. I used a rule similar to that, to remind me when to use "him and me" or "he and I", until they sounded correct to me. Actually, I read long ago that "me and him" is the proper order of words, as opposed to "him and me", so I used that for a very long time. I learned the correct order a few years ago, but it still doesn't naturally sound correct to me. Most people would find this pedantic, but I enjoy learning new things. and once a person knows something is incorrect, why would they want to continue to do it incorrectly? By the way, I'm happy to learn about "creating social distance". I try to adjust my style of communication according to whom "😁" I'm communicating with, and I didn't know there is an actual label for that. If I explain that to someone, I always say that a person feels more distanced from someone when they feel like that "someone" is speaking pretentiously. Of course, that means I rarely write or speak formally. 🫤 As a side note, if anyone notices any incorrect grammar in this comment, please let me know! 😄 It's rare to come across someone who actually wants to be corrected, so I understand why most people don't do it, but those of us who do want to learn suffer for it!
This helped me so much. & I figured out 'American' as a language, is not a language at all but instead a misperceived slang developed from lack of education. Ask Americans what language they speak 😏
god bless you teachers.
Bookaholic
hahaha good
The best explanation I ever had. Thanks a lot lovely couple.❤

Carter is helpful, but Carter could do things more efficiently in less time or in a less wet-slipper manner.
lots of mystery.. i am japanese but (in despite english is not my primary language) i always speak as a nonrothic english.. for some obscure and paranormal reasons, i have tried a lot to be a "rothic" girl (usa, canada kind) but nothing work )' : so i had to continued in the nonrothic way "(^ . ^)"... floor (fleow), truck (twock), curtain (keuten), trailer (tewele), warning (woening) and in some cases, for example "piece of paper near that person", it may sounding like "pace ea pape nee that peson" etc... some people say that "kind of sound" is sexi on girl but i do not know what to say since i only know that accent "(¬ . ¬)"... so yes, its a lots of "mystewee" 💕
Nice lesson ❤
I love "thee" way you guys are teaching while having fun.
Loved it
I really love your videos. Vicky was so lovely, I miss her. ❤
Great class! Thank you, guys!
I hate you when you don't pronounce the t lol
If it hadn't been for you, I wouldn't have understood the third conditional sentences. Is my example correct?
But why do we say “Can you hear me well? “ or “ I can’t see you well” if hear and see are stative verbs ? I can’t get it 😢
Thank you teachers
I love you two. ❤❤❤ you interestingly explain these lessons.

This is info is so useful! When I hang out with my gaming gang they always say "My bad!" hahaha that would be informal right? hahaha Greetings guys! :D
May her soul rest in peace. Great teacher 🙏🏼🥺❤️❤️❤️
For me, when it comes to pronunciation specifically, both American and British are understandable, it only becomes blurred or difficult when it comes to the accents because there's a lot of variations, the tone, intonation, sound, rhythms and more. Because for me dropping the "r" is just like the same as other silent words like honest, would, could, so it's not of a big deal for me.
I love! 🎉 ❤ My teacher is a genius and beautiful person!
Thanks my dear Ailín!
