She are we going to act like we didn’t see the roller coaster track in the background
Proud of the fact that my city is the one working on her.
Wasn't Braemer cut in two with an added section?
Yes, that is correct. Back in 2008 it was extended by 31 meters. This ship has sailed for Crown, Cunard, Majesty, Norwegian, and last was with Fred. Olsen whom also did the extension.
I could care less about Royal Caribbean Cruise Line now, after 26 cruises with them now they're charging me $6000 for an inside balcony...yes six thousand....$12000 for 2!!!
The pricing is certainly at all time highs during peak travel periods. We like them a lot, but have been exploring other lines due to the pricing as well.
That is a great company that takes care of their customers 😊 I would use them for a cruise in the future 😀 went to Alaska last year v.c to Alaska Awsome trip.
We loved our Alaska experience on Ovation with them.
Violence, stabbing someone on the head with a scissors that's attempt murder.Ntando Sogoni
The videos about this ship are sketchy at best
Why?
Radiance needs to be sent to the scrapyard. It continually keeps having propulsion issues, with the ABB azipods, and NOTHING is working to repair them. It's 23 years old. Royal has fallen wayyy behind, in replacing smaller ships, that are well over 20 years old. Nearly half their fleet is 20 + years old. Vision class ships are nearing 30 years each.
Your comments seem to suggest that your knowledge is extensive regarding ships. Thank you for posting.
The employee had just started the day of the incident.
This guy has been my colleague for many years, he's a quiet and respectful guy, never been violent. I'm shocked and in disbelief.
@@nolixfatso2390but violent is how can he stab on the head, well wonder his nationality
Yikes. I imagine there is something that occurred we are not aware of (not that it would make it ok to be clear).
👏Way To Go☆'ROYAL CARIBBEAN🛳CRUISE LINE!'☆It's Better To Be *'SAFE!' Than *'SORRY!' Yep!They Handled Their Whole 'UNFORTUNATE!' Customer Service Issue With❤*'HONORS!'*❤😏(Sometimes,😌You Just Have To Bite The Bullet & Lose A Few!💵)✌️Peace
Who cares? A cruise was cancelled Yawn
This is why Icon is 3k/ 7 days to start
Wow, that's actually impressive 👏
Good looking out !!
👏👏👏👏
But was the Giardia and Cryptosporidium compensated? What were they supposed to do if there were no people on the ship?
That’s how to properly compensate the passengers. Hats off to Royal Caribbean
Well damn they didnt act like a typical corporation and screw over their customers .. awesome
ROYAL JUST GOT MY BUSINESS. 💯. GOOD LOOKING OUT FOR YOUR GUESTS. ❤
I was expecting to hear how badly RC screwed the passengers. It was a pleasant twist.
Stuff happens..they took care of their customers.
At least then handled it by taking full responsibility for the inconvenience of their customers with full compensation. That's how to do business.
Well, their compensation package sounds fair.
Flooding caused by overflowing toilets was the culprit
Stuff happens. Dwelling on it is foolish. Onward and upward!
Do you plan to take advantage of the deal this year? Or did you get to last year?
We went on a New Zealand cruise on Feb 24, two out of 6 ports cancelled. Issues arise with an engine problem on a life boat and apparently weather issues mmmmmm we sailed past Dunedin and the sun was shining we even dropped off a sick passenger before leaving. Sone of it just didn’t add up.
That sounds frustrating, which cruise line was that on?
Have you ever had a cruise cancelled?
Yes - September 8, 2023 Radiance of the Seas
@@jenniferhessler2964 oh then this one hits close to home for sure.
How do you feel about seeing the good and the bad behind the scenes activity?
We were happy to see your video. We had started looking at the Villa Vie videos and had the same reactions you describe here. We'll we appreciated the transparency, the behind the scenes footage is so rough and uneven it concerned us a bit. The whole task looked like such a daunting effort to get all of that done in time. But in the end I think we are left mostly feeling that for them to do this, they most have confidence that they can pull it off and must a least have integrity since they aren't hiding behind a curtain.
Please. In Villa Vie, Vie is pronounced Vee and it means Life in French.
i was on that cruise
I've been on a few cruises with helicopter evac's. While it's interesting to watch the helicopter and the crew, sad they are there of course.
yes of course!
It's all fun and games until it breaks down mid swing.
maybe going to the middle of the ocean while pregnant isn't such a good idea
Have you ever seen a helicopter 🚁 pick someone up while at sea?
Yes! Looking forward to the additional station in Tampa and new stop near Port Canaveral. Will really open up the transportation options for the Florida Gulf Coast cruise community.
I will like having more airport options as well, being able to spend time in Orlando, and then train to a port will be a welcome improvement over the rental car.
Have you had a port stop here cancelled due to weather and no pier? This should improve things and make the hassles of tenders also be reduced.
I cannot wait to try this, and yes it makes me a bit nervous.
Are you excited about their new ships? Or does it matter to you?
Have you been impacted by any of these changes? Let us know below.
Does taking the train to your next cruise appeal to you?
Lived there for 10 yrs in the 80’s and 90’s bumper stickers said “so many tourists so little time”. Enjoyed our time there. I have a brother and sister currently living there! Note, I will be visiting SE Alaska on a cruise this summer.
We lived in a tourism economy based small town before. It’s always a tough balance to keep everyone happy and enable the town to stay the authentic destination people are hoping to see.
I love how cruise lines swiftly change plans when necessary and puts the safety for the passengers and crew as first priority. I worked on cruise ships for many years and saw this time and time again. Kudos to Carnival.
They are very nimble that is for sure.
The bridge did not catch fire.
You are correct, that sentence reads in a confusing manner. We are clarifying that in a follow up.
Why is the news only talking about the construction workers and nothing about those vehicles on the bridge that went down?
I don’t think I would want to go on it. But maybe my mind will change as it gets closer. Feels like a bad omen.

Never really been anywhere so wherever the boat flow I'll go
Correct price is $9,990 per cabin.
The correct price is $9,990 per cabin.
its not per person - its per cabin
Thanks, I've updated the description as well as pinned a comment.
Does this mean the same the same for wheelchair persons too
I've only seen official commentary regarding scooters. I don't often see wheelchairs in the hallways. I believe they can more readily fit in the stateroom as needed.
