We are a Salt Lake City-based documentary non-profit that tells local stories about our incredible community. We want to enable local filmmakers to tell local stories. Our hope is that by providing both a space for local artists to tell important stories and providing accessible content to our community about the diversity that exists around them, we'll see a more accepting and inclusive society.

Tracie Halverson and her PAC did raise $25k to file the lawsuit. The federal Judge Parrish has denied the injunction to allow more signatures to get the initiative on the ballot. You are permitted to fly the historical/ceremonial flag without penalty. Thank you for your hard work!

A flag should have no more than three colors or less, and it should be very simple and not too busy. You forgot about the native Americans. The flag should have represented the five tribes of Native Americans and the beehive does not represent that. There should be a Pointed white star instead of the beehive because the beehive represents Mormonism. It represents how Mormons came to this land and stole it from the Native Americans. This flag and the old flag both suck.

adjusting a hexagon and adding a beehive to someone else's existing design makes you a "lead designer"
If you mean combining the themes, colour pallets and ideas from thousands of people into one consolidated design? Yea. It probably does.
@@reminder9146 the chosen design was unveiled at a tedx event and then posted on billboards around SLC 2 years in advance. The lead designer literally adjusted the position of a hexagon. The design submission contest was a sham.
@@lifeisdriving That's a convenent way to dismiss the thousands of other designs with similar themes. Is it not possible that people can concieve of similar simple themes and ideas when asked to? If mathamatics suggests that 10,000 monkies given enough time to bang away at type writers will eventually reproduce all the works of Shakespere, wouldn't intellegient people engaging in active design come up with similar ideas faster? Even I had the broad horizontal stripes Blue, White, and Red, and a beehive in my idea submission. Going from a circle to a Hexagon is not a broad design leap. There is an entire wiki fandom page that is years older than that 2021 tedx talk with flag designs from flag enthusiasts that just spitball this stuff. Some even contain hexagons. The earliest proto version of the new flag's red white & blue tricolur with a beehive was posted there on 13 May 2013 and a Hexogon themed flag shows up as early as February 2018 on that page alone. But hey, believe what you want to believe, don't let math, reason, or historical fact get in your way.

Really well done! I’ve had the chance to explore many parts of SLC as a package delivery driver over the last few years, and there really are so many cool little spots! But running every street is on a completely different level. So cool!
