  Yes, two other female artists passed on this song, Hillary Scott and Sara Evans', Too soft and mushy. The difference with Carrie's vocals behind it. Carrie took to the high part of the vocal range. Carrie can take it higher than either Hillary or Sara.

  Carrie could mute Jamie, Carrie's backup singer here anytime she wants to. Carrie can go up higher and faster than Jamie could, so easily. But Carrie spotlight Jamie on purpose.

  @@PlumbPitiful Actually Syndi playing fiddle helps Carrie. She can add more songs to her setlist and Syndi got a little embarrassed by that. Carrie made that comment on her last tour. When she introduce Syndi to the audience.

  @@PlumbPitiful Only reason, Jamie left Carrie's band is that Jamie went to form a new country act with her husband and with Carrie's blessing. And before Syndi joined Carrie, Carrie had another backup singer Andres Thomas and Andrea tried to out sing Carrie, and she finally left to try out with The Voice to be where Carrie is. Didn't work out.

  Carrie won't release this song as a single. Remember only reason, Carrie did this song to begin with. To prove on Idol competition she can do other songs that wasn't country. On Idol, singers do any song in the music world. Contestants must be able to do any song, they are asked to.

  iHeart radio told Carrie that was why she was invited to the event to sing this song with Heart. Carrie look said it all. Ann said no problem with that. Even though audience was still shocked when Carrie came out and sang with Heart. And only thing, Carrie didn't use her full power on the song. Ann's look like, she knew Carrie didn't use her full power.

  iHeart gave Carrie a chance to do the full song. iHeart answered everybody question. What can Carrie do with a full version of the song, not just 90 seconds of 3:25 song. Result is outstanding job by Carrie. I think Carrie did about 20 songs during the Idol competition. Carrie said they were 3 songs she never heard of before Idol. And "Angels Brought Me Here" was one of them. And Carrie was given 3 hours to learn it before she performed it. Carrie said she can learned a new song quickly.
