So I prefer to play in FP, but it seems like people using the 3rd person kinda get an advantage . Is this true? Seems like you can see the enemy(s) better and read their windups better
I personally would say banner knights are the best meele mounted unit. Beacuse every time I I put them in custom battles against elite cataphracts. They destroy them. If I do 200 vs 200 the banner knights have 100 left at the end of the battle. Also I would say Khans guard is the best unit in the game. A 100% of the time. They wreck everything.
I find Vlandian infantry with kite shields and such to be semi-decent troops that can make a good shield wall and so on , I'm a Vlandian fan myself gotta keep the Butter meme going somehow lol. I find Vlandia is a pretty decent "all round" faction to play as, they're not totally OP unless you know how to make them that way but can at least hold their own in many large scale battles.
Mordhau is a sweat fast, chiv is enjoyable
cant seem to grasp it and its pissing me off tbh. Trying to not get pissed off cause of the nature of the game but it just seems like everyone is swinging faster than me no matter what and it feels like my block hardly fucking works most the time
Chiv 2 combat is just boring after a few hours unfortunately
What I dont understand is why other pppl care so much what ithers use and feel the need to say it over and over in comment sections that they think its bad to unfun if someone uses 3rd person. Its like the souls community you cant have fun unless your naked and kill all the bosses with no weapon. Like if you claim that it gives them am unfair advantage then either use it yourself or git gud

Khan's guard is not only the best horse archer, it is THE best troop in the game. I completely gave up on archers, as they are so much harder to manage.

Played this couple of years back, grinded to max levels and became a smith and a knight with my own plate armour that i smithed from my own mined materials. Loved it. But this subscription thing will keep me away and many others. Not worth it.
Jab being on the right stick ps5 is just ridiculous. Like and cant jab without crouching! Is there no way to remap controls on console?
Dane axe and war axe/battle axe easiest way to be top of the leaderboard they need to be slower than long sword not just a directly better choice :)
Even if Chiv 2 never has total customization like Morhau I just wish they released more and varied options for amors, helmets and weapons. The battlepass also kind of sucks because (as usual) the coolest stuff is locked away behind the paywall. It’s not free-to-play and even completing the battlepass doesn’t give you enough currency to get all the available items. If they changed that I think it would really strengthen the player base.
When I saw the Rangers hitting with knives like Fighters in Chivalry 2, I deleted the game.
Looks a bit too fast paced for me. Also don't really dig the fantasy blend they went for.
Chivalry is definitely hard to learn and I’m coming from for honor. When I first watched the beginner video 4 for FOR HONOR I was like 🧐Oh hell nah but it was easy to learn since the tutorial is really good.

as a Chiv 2 player, i've looked at Mordhau a few times and i just don't visually and game mechanic wise see it as a fun game for me to play after playing Chiv 2 first, the animations and combat seem to be a little wonky from almost every video i've seen, a friend let me watch him play and he was casually getting called the hard r multiple times over and over and im just not for the toxicity, and Chiv 2 also just graphicaly looks amazing and i find it odd how Mordhau made in 2019 looks like a game from 2012. Mordhau does have some insane customization but i do like Chiv 2's realism aspect and how they try to keep there armor and suiting more lore or realism based.
Mordhau graphics are pretty good, chivalry 2 looks like shit lol
I have a button to switch perspectives on my mouse, so I dont have to lift my right or left hand to press. And, I can quickly switch to 3rd person when dueling that sweaty ass player.

As someone who plays Chiv 2,It is worth every penny,plus you can go berserk in first person which amps up realism and brutality, and that includes the weapons. Yes,they take time to swing, but that's realistic, so Chiv 2 for me is a winner

Big skillgaps wouldn't be the problem in mordhau if the knew player would get feedback on how to improve the problem in my opinion is is that you don't even understand what the oponent just did. I have 1300 hours in the game and still get confused when i play against guys with 2000 ours or more if they are really good
