  Damn bro, I was about to order one but I’m worried about the Bass. I listen to mainly Rap & EDM and both of those are bass heavy genres of music. (I just realized I posted on this same video a year ago saying pretty much the same thing lol)

  The flare Bumpboxx was advertised as a stereo sound boombox with STEREO sound, the first generation Bumpboxx was all about the BASS, the flare was not.

  Junkboxx is China made junk. If you want the best, and quality. Get you an American made Diamondboxx. If you've already made the mistake of getting yourself a Junkboxx or you have another speaker that you are wanting more bass from, I highly recommend getting yourself the Diamondboxx SUB8.2. It can be paired with any speaker with an aux input. And it packs all the bass and then some that you're looking for. And I recommend the L3 or XL3. Big money, but you get the best product for it. Otherwise you'll just constantly be buying products that aren't enough of something.

  Pretty good review my man, You pretty much hit all the points. Let me say this to some on your cons. The base - Bumpboxx was designed to be the loudest in the market, with this you have to tone the base down a bit or the loudness will suffer because of distortion, I think it still hits hard will making it super loud and mine doesn’t distort at all, also playing with the EQ settings on your phone makes a big difference. 2 - the led lights, they only come on when it gets louder so you can have it playing in the dark when you want to chill and not have your room lighting up light a club, I would rather it that way, then not being able to turn them down. 3 - the connect, best way around this is when you want to disconnect and change source, hit forget device on the current connection then reconnect, again this is done for a reason, Because people take their Bumpboxx everywhere, you don’t want just anyone being able to connect, so having it set up the way it is, is to safe guard that. Hope that helps explain some things, other than that, good review man.

  I'm contemplating getting a Flare 8...but $399 is a lot. After you said the Bass isn't that good at a loud level...I'm def gonna search around for something with better bass.

  Personally, I don't like the design. What I would change is the speakers, one big and two smaller speakers. Maybe a subwoofer in the middle and two full range speakers on the sides. Have a dedicated mono amp on the one center sub. That would improve the bass. Get rid of that big letter B it's tacky. And some lighted VU meters in place of the lights. I don't like BT because it drains the battery in my phone. I'd go with more SD card and USB options. Resess the USB ports so they aren't sticking out. A full size and micro sd card slots. Could even have an internal SSD drive like a computer.

  There is no dedicated bluetooth speaker that will not distort. Beach, park, etc...these have a purpose. But if your buying to listen at home...please save your money and Get a proper set up. You can put together a good system for under 2k. That's bookshelf speakers...integrated amplifier and subwoofer.

  Bumpboxx is made of cheap particle board. I had the Ultra, and the speakers popped out, and it was over. Board was all flaked and stripped out, and the speakers would never stay in, cause the screws wouldn't stay in.

  Nice video. Looking at other videos to figure out wtf to do with the piece you disconnect to mount the catch can to, so thanks for the zip tie tip. Got a scat pack charger that I need this mod for.

  Agree with you on the bass response. I was expecting a clean bump...but nah. And like you said, as it got louder the bass response was distorted. I come from the days from when we had some decent boomboxes (jambox as I called it) and they were better. Now is this one loud...hell yeah. It's loud.

  If you re referring to regular cleaning, I use Chemical Guys products. Haven't had any issues .

  The best Bluetooth speaker I have is the aiwa exos 9. Bro that joint is the best! The bass is so clear and crazy amazing! I had to grab another one, so I got two, and they do hook up together. But no joke the bass from the awia exos 9 sound like something coming out a trunk. Cop you one bro. 💥💯
