  while it is flat on the floor, Measure how high you lift to remove the glass. Cut a stick to that length so you have a guide. It will help to get you get very close for the reinstall.

  Just curious: did you get your framing approved without a sistered rafter? I am looking at doing (at least) the framing myself and am running into the need to sister the rafters that border the cut out for the skylight.

  Try with spray ionic silver, it will kill bacteria in nose . Or try with this solution: in glass of water put half tea spoon of salt and half tea spoon of baking soda, then put juice of half lemon. It will have shaum reaction because of lemon and soda , let it calm . Then try to drop this solution in nose. This is very good , it help many people to heal sinusitis and imediatly clean nose. Lemon is important it kill bacteria in sinus and it will not harm cat. You can repeat many times. You can for first time put little less lemon.

  Thanks for an interesting video ... something not broached by the many other sites I've visited, including those by vets. It would be helpful to know the name of the device you use. I'm amazed how tolerant your cat is ... not sure mine would accept the procedure, but it's definitely worth a try. My vet took large portions of mucous from my cats nose for analysis and it seemed to really help his congestion ... But when I suggested repeating it or my doing it at home he discounted the idea ... said the sinuses would just fill up again. Even so, if he could have his passages clearer perhaps he'd be able to smell again and start eating ... He hasn't eaten anything on his own for almost a month! I'm providing him with 1.5 ml subcutaneous Sodium Chloride Injection / Infusion 0.09% every other day and force feeding him Hill Urgent Care & Robert's Organics Nutrient Paste (which I highly recommend) ... He's had multiple blood tests, antibiotics, anti-inflammatory injections and pills (Prednisone) and an anti-histamine - which I now crush to include with his force feeding portions.... I'm awaiting the results of a final fungal test (he's negative for most other possible causes). It that is finally returned negative, then it might be cancer or congestive heart disease / fluid build up in the lungs. Needless to say I've spent a fortune on tests and medications.

  My 14 YO girl cat has had a tumor in/around her sinus for over a year. I've only been able to treat her with herbal remedies (c-caps & immugen). She's had a lot of buildup and discharge over that time and now has less discharge and more wheezing, so I don't know if it's congestion or restriction. I wish I'd have know about this option earlier. Looks like a good quick way to deal with this problem.

  Are there any dangers to this? why isn't this a more widespread practice? My cat is so congested and the emergency room vet gave him fluids ($400!!!). This aspirator would have been great!

  my cat has a slight congestion and it worries me sometimes when she's sleeping it almost sounds like she's snoring. whats your best advice?? I'm going to take her to the vet asap

  Thank you Doug for showing me this video. We have a cat named Bob who has terrible sinus/congestion/nasal discharge problems. So bad that he will launch LARGE hard mucous out of his nose....God help us where it's going to land. Thanks for the suggestion of the aspirator, I will check into that.

  Great idea! Two of my cats are congested from a kitty flu. I'm going to go buy one of those suction things tomorrow!
