This is where I fish all the time. Deadhorse slough is a fish catcher, not many big ones though. Absolutely LOVE your net btw! Huge Giants fan here, although it’s rough right now. Where’d you get it?

It has been a rough couple years for the Giants 😕. The net is linked in the description, it's a ForEverlast floating net, but I have added an extension of PVC and just wrapped it in orange gorilla tape, and on the end used some duct tape that has the Giants logo on it 😀

Getting better every time out, love it. I know wacky rig is not your favorite style, but I have had great success over the years with a chartruesse tipped senko tail with a watermelon body. Both in stained and ultra clear water. Smallies and Largemouth like em, up north anyway. P.S. Dont you just love how people in big powerful bass boats think they have priority on a hole over others, lol.

@@timgeary6461 thanks Tim! I don’t mind the wacky rig, I use it often, it’s the drop shot I hate 🤣. I know that technique catches them too, I just only use it as a last resort. I will have to at least give this guy in the bass boat credit, he allowed me to fish the area first, which I’ve had several guys not give any respect to me and just come in and fish on top of me. But I’ve had kayak fishermen do the same too 🤷🏼♂️.

So it will be just a quick recap few minutes from that weeks practice but it’s honestly identical to tourney day. Definitely definitely bummed about it messing up ended up buying another GoPro for backup and and another sd card

The only con with old town is the weight. I’ve had a few different brands and most of the really good ones the weight is always a problem. Out of all the brands old town makes the best yak. Hobie was my 1rst yak and it did it’s job, but when it got really hot the kayak would start to flex and was always a hassle getting them to replace parts that broke.

I’ve been watching a lot of your delta videos. I plan on going to the delta for my first kayak adventure in a couple days. Would you recommend any launch spots if coming from the Sacramento area?

I would say that Wimpy's or Walnut Grove are good options for your first launch. They are fairly easy launches and they are close to Sacramento. There is also the Deep Water channel in West Sac.

The only con with old town is the weight. I’ve had a few different brands and most of the really good ones the weight is always a problem. Out of all the brands old town makes the best yak. Hobie was my 1rst yak and it did it’s job, but when it got really hot the kayak would start to flex and was always a hassle getting them to replace parts that broke.
Yeah they are heavy empty, but even more so when loaded down with all my extra unnecessary gear 😂.

I had to go through the whole thing also. Plenty of fish just nothing to get excited about. It's fun catching em. But man is it hard when you need the bigger ones. Great quality Footage. Your intro was super clear on the voice. Assuming your using a mic Sounds Great bud. Looking forward to the next one.

Yup! Frittside 7! The Frittside is one of my favorites! On tournament day I changed to a different crankbait and went with the Berkley dredger that runs about 10 foot.

I’ve been watching a lot of your delta videos. I plan on going to the delta for my first kayak adventure in a couple days. Would you recommend any launch spots if coming from the Sacramento area?
I would say that Wimpy's or Walnut Grove are good options for your first launch. They are fairly easy launches and they are close to Sacramento. There is also the Deep Water channel in West Sac.

Not trying to be disrespectful but you should only be netting giant bass. There is absolutely no reason to be netting those little dinks it’s a waste of time. Drag em to the boat and take the hook out simple as that. Good video otherwise 👍
