    How did you miss doing a review on the ROG Adventure Trailers by Encore RV??? The 12RK and 14RKB are not only innovative designs, but they’re built 100% wood-free and have an all-aluminum chassis and frame. You missed that one!!

    With the timberleaf probably being the most reasonable, all these are priced as if they're equipped with their own drivetrain. Rather just build my own.

    30!!! Is a long list but you for got two very important industry leaders. Both designed and manufactured in Utah. The Bean (with echo to premiere models) and the escapod. The escapod has renal options so you can give it a try. Both top of the line fiber glass tear drops.

    They are designed to cross over rough terrain and geared for maximum torque. That also means they are not geared for highway travel faster than 45 mph. Since most people will need to go a long ways on the highway before they go off I to the wilds, how does it ride doing 45 mph with loud, rough tires, roaring engine trying to keep at speed?

    I'd like a smallish, solid true 4 season/no leak camper w plenty of solar, enough room for 2 lg dog crates, shower, waterless toilet, 2 burner stove, ?oven, good inside and outside camera/security system, inside temperature monitoring/alert system for dogs if left for a very short time, with no need to haul excess water bc uses same or similar water making technology (as long as have 20+% humidity) that Living Vehicle in California uses.

    I like this comparison. For the money which is nearly the same where I live, they are apples to apples for me. A tacoma TRD off road is $53,000 CAD plus taxes and they want 8% interest so payments are $920 a month. An F150 XLT supercrew 4x4 costs $68,000 plus tax but because they only want 2% interest payments are $990. So for $70 a month these are in the same ballpark to me.

    Why pull a trailer to end up sleeping in a tent? Anything in a "cabbie" will end up on the floor. Secure latching cabinets are MUCH better. NewCamp's 320S Boondock offers a much better departure angle then the CS model that you show. NEVER pull a trailer on a dirt trail without a fully articulating hitch/coupler - bent frames are expensive

    So what you're saying is for the same price? I'll never blow a transmission, never need an oil/fluids change and I won't have to pay so much money for gas if I buy a cyber truck? Lol thanks for the break down. I already know what color I'm getting the cyber truck painted 😂

    I'm curious iff it's only possible to build a Unikat camper on a regular truck chassis with 6x2 axle ? Does it have to be a MAN or can you build it on any truck chassis ?

  • @trailingoffroad
    @trailingoffroadАй бұрын

    If you want, you can build it on any capable truck. It doesn't necessarily have to be a man. Mercedes Acors, Zetros are good enough to be a base vehicle for those heavy moddings.
