From Scotland to the world!
I make films about the random locations I visit and show you the honest truth about what they are like. You'll see stuff not on the usual tourist trail with videos unlike the same-old tourist films you see here on KZread.

I was considering swapping me Insta360 X4 for the Pocket 3, since 99% of reviews talk about it having better quality (plus it has live streaming which Insta360 decided to remove from X3 to X4). Seeing these issues, not sure I want that headache.
Excellent video, very helpful, just what I needed for our visit this week. Thank you
Haha, actually the comments related to your video getting from the airport, but this one is useful too! 😊
@@derekclack1274 No problem :) Enjoy your trip to Bordeaux and I am glad you found both videos useful!
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
I love the Lisbon metro; in general it is bright and spacious. Olaias is a delight and a tribute to the Portuguese culture. Did you visit the Museu Nacional Ferroviário (National Railway Museum) in Entroncamento? I found it quite interesting with its varied displays of railway history and memorabilia, a roundhouse full of steam locomotives, another building full of coaches, wagons and track maintenance vehicles, etc.
Sadly I didn't have time to visit that museum. But, it's a good excuse to go back to Portugal! :)
@@TravellingTourist cool; allow yourself between half a day and a day to explore the museum. From Entroncamento you can get to several place in Portugal by train. As you know the fares are cheap here.
Beautiful country
Grazie mille per questo video 😊
No problem, thanks for watching!
gross
it instantly goes off center and resetting gives tonnes of sky so you have to keep nudging it down the osmo 2 was better on this front
Thank you for the video it was very helpful as we are off to Edingbourough tomorrow.👍
Glad you found it helpful. I'd still recommend the 100 bus over the tram though (and I've STILL not got round to doing a video about it - oops). Enjoy your visit!
Thanksss that was so simple and useful 👌
Glad it helped. Enjoy Naples!
I have a small travel KZread channel and for a few years I was using a GoPro 8. I decided earlier this year it was time to upgrade and my wife talked me into getting a Osmo Pocket 3, and holy hell, I will never listen to that woman again. It is an obnoxious camera. The most infuriating thing is that they took the *most basic operation of a camera* and completely removed it! So many times all I've wanted to do is point the damn camera at something and record, but nope! Not with the Osmo Pocket 3. Oh, you want to record a motorcycle racing down the street, too f***ing bad because the camera decided it wanted to instead follow a bush. I can't count the number of times I simply wanted to pan the camera to show my phone, or a building or f***ing anything, and I find myself tilting the camera at extreme angles because it's easier than using the stupid f***ing joystick. Oh, and sometimes the joystick will move the gimbal and other times it will instead zoom in and out -- when and why does it change? F*ck you, it does what it wants. And I know someone is going to come in here and be like "DuR yoU JUsT DOn't KnOW hOW tO UsE iT!" It's a f***ing camera, I want to point it at something and press record, how f***ing hard is that? Well the Osmo Pocket 3 makes it hard! The only thing I like about it is the wireless mic I got with the creator pack. But once I'm back from my current trip I'm going to sell the stupid thing on ebay and just get a new GoPro like I should have done to begin with.
I feel your pain 😵💫
Very informative
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
🙌
Zadar has had cruise ships for a while, but I totally agree. I say no cruise ships at all in the Adriatic. Split is the worst. Ruins your time there completely.
Now , this gives me a nice idea for a visit.
Nice and challenging review. Good that you made it. I am a P3 fan. It's great camera. But thumbs up for you - you are the first KZreadr to identify a problem that I have also identified. With a P3 you can't manage to hold the camera really still (goes even better with the P2 I also own) and then take a video. The gimbal moves continuously. A regular well stabilized camera from Lumix does that much better: the GH5, 6 or the Panasonic G9II (a very good, underrated camera...i quit sony FF and went back to Pananasonic m43 in combination with a P3 and an action 4.....with that combination can handle just about anything).
The problems that he addressed in the video can be checked as user error and can be addressed with spending some time with the Pocket 3, but he does say that it is about ease of use for him. Think of this video much like how someone enjoys a Pop-tart straight from the box, sure you can eat it, and it does taste much better when toasted, but sometimes you don’t feel like getting the toaster out, waiting for it to toast and waiting for it to cool down.
Nice video of an unusual bridge.
Many thanks!

very nice and clear with tips thanks you sir
Glad you found it helpful 👍🏼
I did this trip back in 2019, but of course the old memory was a bit hazy. This great video has brought it all back into focus and I will confidently take the journey next month. Thanks for a VERY clear video
Glad you found it helpful 👍🏼 I believe the ticket price has increased since I was there. Enjoy your holiday!
Scotrail's website says you can get a train to Inverness from Edinburgh Gateway. You transfer at Haymarket.
You could… theoretically you could get a train anywhere from that station if you change at Haymarket. But, why would you? I’d reconnend just staying on the tram to Haymarket. It’ll be quicker 👍🏼
That really does look fantastic and I’ll add it to my list for the next time I’m there. Ta Ian
Hypnotic!
Theres lots of useless information about buses in Naples, but this video was great. Thanks!
Glad you found it helpful! Enjoy your trip to Naples :)
You should buy the creator combo.but i think, insta 360 has abetter stabilization but DJI Osmo pocket 3 is good with low light
Hello, could you please recommend how to get from Zadar airport to Novalja? Thank you
I’m sorry I’ve not done that route before. Sounds like a good excuse to go back to Zadar on holiday 👍🏼
Fascinating! How do they work?
They charge up at each stop and use batteries to travel to the next stop (although some of the route has overhead wires so they operate as normal there)
@@TravellingTouristNeat! I saw them on my trip, but that bit just never caught my attention! Cool to know!
Hahahahaha! I thought this might have been a reference to another channel, time and place! I’m glad it’s this instead😂😂😂
😎
Thank you for the information, I'm from Córdoba and I did not know the story behind that train 😅. Regards !!
Glad you liked the video :) I hope the little engine will be saved from the rust 😵💫
Thanks! very helpful. 🙏🏼
My pleasure :)
FYI, the ticket price is €5 now.
Y la Plaza Nueva, la universidad de Deusto, El Arenal, el Palacio de la Diputación, el Tigre de Deusto, el edificio de Osakidetza, el museo de bellas artes, ... ??
Oh, I think I missed a lot! That is a good excuse for me to return one day soon :) Thank you!
THANK YOU! Simple and to the point. Much appreciated.
Glad it helped!
Yes. Are there any departures from the same stops on the way from the city centre to the airport?
Hi, yes the bus stops at the same locations on the way to the airport
Hello, Can I get the train to Sorrento from the Naples railway station stop, if yes, what is the name of the train? Also, can I get the ferry to Sorrento at the cruise port? Thank you! 🥰
Hi, I’m sorry I’m not 100% sure. Maybe best to ask the Naples tourist office?
I’m facing the same problem. The flight was delayed for more than five hours. I went to the website to fill out the compensation form, and they said I don’t have the right to compensation because a bird crashed into the airplane, which is out of their control - unbelievable.
Wow that sucks! We’re still trying for compensation for this months later its still going on. But, what can you do 🤷🏻♂️
May I ask, it seems on the website that they'll give free entrance on Monday. Is it valid?
Oh I didnt know that! Maybe 🤷🏻♂️ Some places also give free entry on the first Sunday of the month too. Maybe check with them via email?
Brilliant , Are you watching Leeds City Council 😮
Here’s hoping she gets fixed up again. All around my region (Moselle, France) you have the remnants of the old mine railways. Nearly each town asked for one after mines closed and at first the retired miners maintained the wee diesel electrics. But so many of them have passed in or become infirm. There’s one in the grounds at a nursing home in Carling and I have my eye on it to at least repaint.
Thats interesting! This is the first one like this I saw in France, but I’ve seen loads of old steam locos on plinths in Poland and the Baltic States.
Going in September.
I hope you’ll love your visit as much as we did 👍🏼
The Italian locomotives look very “retro-futuristically-art-deco-ish” in a Dan Dare/Flash Gordon style! Or Futurama🤷🏻♂️😁 Nice region to visit.
I miss Futurama, that was a good show. Bender for President!
@@TravellingTourist Yes! I’d vote for him! Leela for Prime Minister! Brilliant show though , my “kids” ( grown men now) love it👍🏼
In 70s pretty much you could go from any town to any town in Yugoslavia by rail ,back then trains were still new and clean
Z Gauge perhaps?! Those figurines are simply tremendous. I remember your original video and I hope to get there 😊
Yeah it was awesome to see! Oh, by the way, check this out ;) www.youtube.com/@SecondhandModelRailways
@@TravellingTourist That’s great to see😊💪 Thanks, Ian
This year, 70 million Euros reconstruction of railway line Zadar Knin will begin. Should be finished in 4 years, so we can hope in 2028-2029 we will see trains in Zadar again
Long time ago you could travel with overnight sleep train from Belgrade to Zadar. Now they do not have trains, they do not have train station or rail but they are independant.
They are also richer and part of the EU
@@harbl2479 If they are richer why they cannot afford decent rail with decent trains and decent train station? Is that EU standard maybe? I am sure that is what people of Zadar and Dalmatia always dreamed about.
@@blok63 Yugoslavia didn't have a good rail network, not even a common voltage for electrified lines. Most of the network in Slovenia and Croatia was built during Austria-Hungary. So I am sure that it's mostly nostalgia that people dream about if anything from that era
@@harbl2479 I do not remember that time so I cannot tell you anything about nostalgia, only about the fact. You could travel from Belgrade directly to Zadar with the overnight sleep train and today you cant. Today you cant even travel from Croatian capital of Zagreb simple as there is no rail. Rail Zadar-Knin was built 1967. and it was connecting Zadar with Zagreb and the rest of Ygoslavia. But what I know, it is EU standard. No rail is better that a rails that was built is 1967.
@@blok63 there are daily overnight trains that go from Zagreb through Ljubljana and up to Stuttgart and Zurich and vice versa.
Good inspiration for a diorama👍🏼
Thanks but usually airport ticket stations charge more. Is that not the case here? Thanks for the video by the way.
It didnt seem to be when we were there
