  Love the floor plan. However I would not have the bedroom separated from the living area. One big open space, with the bed placed where it is. Can a large TV be placed above the bed? Then a split system above the TV? Then have an L shaped seating arrangement with one side facing the TV, making that the living area backing onto the kitchen.

  Curious how you deal with the summer heat? The walls seem very thin to have adequate insulation to counter seasonal temperature changes.....one would think a big metal black box would get overly hot, no?
