32:00 Years ago, I heard someone like Dr. Phil say, "Two Yesses and one No." IOW all it takes is one party saying no to squelch a decision. In effect, I became the leader by always being the tie breaker or the NO in the decision. I now realize that was out of order. Veto power is executive, presidential power.

27:00 If the woman ends up leading and being the provider because she makes more money or has more gifts, it's devastating and emasculating to men. It's not misogyny. It's the way God made them. I watched a famous Christian singer pursue her gifts, while both of her husband's careers took a back seat. Their careers tanked. At the time, I thought nothing of it. ("Of course", she must pursue her gifts.) Now, as an older woman, I understand that her husbands were sacrificed so she could do her thing. Her children were also raised by the nanny. As far as I can tell, none of her children are walking with God.

I appreciate Mrs. Erika for having them on her show & having her husband join her, as well. I have replaced the filler word “like” with “as in” or “similar to” or “for example”. I hate the over use of the word “like”. This interview had some great information! I love this Perry couple very much!

Grateful to have such an amazing husband who supports me in saying “Nah.” I definitely had a mental breakdown in spring and again, grateful to Holy Spirit and my AMAZING husband for allowing me to be vulnerable . Great advice on this topic! Thank you❤

@RasheiaMarshall what did she say wrong? We all have something we wrestle with. Jackie has said herself in an interview that she's still attracted to women but she chooses to submit to God's will. She practices self-control, but that doesn't mean the desire has left. We all have to practice self-control in our lives for something. That's not gossip. It's observation on a public platform.

Hi, with respect, I might be able to help. This is not their intention. In properly referencing a couple's names, it is most honorable to mention the lady's name first and then the man's name to avoid separating the man's first and last name. 'Perry' is the last name for both of them. Look at 'Hill' as Jackie's middle name.

I see where you’re coming from. know as a wife with a doctorate, I feel honored to be called by the title of Mrs. I ask that when we are introduced, that I’m introduced by Mrs, not Dr. The distinction of Mr. and Mrs. is more honoring for me than being Mr. And Dr. When people insist that I go by Dr., I let them know I choose the greatest honor that I can have. There are some snide comments, but my greatest title is Woman of God, followed by wife, then mother and then employee. I’m cool with my titles and positioning.

    1. I don't think Preston cares about that.... 2. As a man, I'm gonna tell you from the inside..don't even rock with any guys that would have seen it like that or had an issue. Jackie is clearly more known and they are known for different things. Introducing them together as an apologist would be incorrect, because he is and she is not.

@@AlexisRembert God calls this specific thing an abomination. Not necessarily sin. She is clearly dressing like a stud. People can talk good all they want, but the most important testimony of a believer is their lifestyle. Does it reflect what they say? Man is able to see the outward appearance, and from her appearance it's clear that she is deliberately going against Gods word. I can only imagine what's going on within. Many people love God with their mouths, but the hearts are very far from him. This is why God says trust in him only. Falsehood is real. Christianity is the ONLY religion with so much division. With this LGBTQ crisis honestly she needs to do better or sit down, if she is a real disciple what's wrong with getting a few church Midi dresses and calling it a day? Because she wouldn't be comfortable??? We are not called to be comfortable, we are called to obey. Carrying your cross is not comfortable..

I think this would be more of an issue with individuals who are idolizing them. We aren’t to highly esteem no man, only looking to Christ. Though this is nothing new, even Paul addressed in the church when they were saying they were of Paul & of Apollos according to who baptized them. Even further back, Israel wanting a King & not recognizing God had been leading them the whole time. It is flesh that causes man to idolize one another. We have to keep our hearts before Christ.
