McKenna of Monaghan. Proud to be so.
I'm staying in Gorey 😂

The last time I was in Letterkenny, was in 1975, I was 11. Everyone was driving Morris Minors, back then. I left Ireland in 1979.
Where did you end up ?
@@takeadrive Glasgow.
BRIILL…GREAT JOB ! !
I love your dedication and really appreciate and enjoy your videos. It’s like, haven’t been there in a while or yes, got stuck at a traffic light too. And some times it’s an epiphany, oh that’s where I should have pulled over. Or just, mhh, I’ll probably never go there, but now I know. Thank you
Thanks for watching !
Nice to see the area i grew up in, the goatstown part, dublin is a lovely place to live .looking forward to seeing the old town 😊

I hope I live there ❤ I want to cry because of that beautiful city
Another great video. I know Courtown is famed for being a holiday village but I find nothing better than walking around the place on a grey day just like that... the peace and sea air is great. Go raibh míle maith agat
Thanks for watching !
I’m doing this run for the first time this summer do you just park up the car then go up on the deck etc ? Sorry if i come across as vacant but never driven onto a ferry before
Yes that's it. You're directed into your spot and then you go upstairs to the decks :)
@@takeadrive great thank you 👍
@@JohnDurkin-mh4wnYou're welcome
Loved This - Memories ❤
Ah nice one mate, this just popped up on my home page and as someone who is planning to drive the M50 in June it gives me an idea on what it’s like 😁 Bit different from the M50 that’s local to me in the UK that’s for sure haha 😂
Thanks for watching. I presume your M50 is busier than this one ?
@@takeadrive No problem at all and it’s actually the other way round. Very rare to see any traffic like that on ours at any time of the day
Ah, good old "Blá Cliath". Even looks good in the cold grey light of a winter's Sunday morning(?)
The bells 🔔 ♥️
The Luas bridge is named after William Dargan, one of the men who built the original railway.
I haven't been to Dollymount in over 30 years. Can you still drive down the beach towards Howth?
The last time I was there, the first part of the beach was sectioned off with large boulders to contain cars in that area, so probably not any more.
The cottages at 0:25 were demolished today
Was one of those Patty Rice's old shop ?
@@takeadrive Patty Rice's shop at No4 and Patty & James Rice's house at No5 which along with Nos 1,2 & 3 had the rooves removed years ago. No6 was still habitable.
@@goldhawkroad Shame to see them go. We used to go there as kids from my Grandad's house up the road. Any idea what they're going to build on the site ?
@@goldhawkroad lol :)
Do you recall what time of day this video was taken?

How long did it take❤
About 2 hours I think
Kay tks
My Auntie Carmel oaks use to live in crumlin with her husband christy before they passed 😢 iv lots of childhood memories of crumlin visiting them both ❤
In the 60s the then hilly road came to the Hill Top petrol station and you had a view of Clare Island and the bay for a few seconds before the downhill all the way to the town. Now there is Michael Ring's Road - 20 million to take two minutes off the trip.
