Unless I'm thinking of a different horse, I remember Ritmo going from being a $10,000 claimer to Free For All winner in a 6 race span, where you could see both races from rags to riches on same program. Also&again if my I have the right horse, it may have been Ritmo who unfortunately lost his life in a race, that started with the leader R Chi Chi going off stride. It's easy to remember wrong names after so many years.

I remember the race well, stablemate was in there to do exactly what needed to be done with Parker in the pocket, nice payout across the board with the Bomb 2nd.

I remember when Hawthorne burned down and they had to hold the meet at Sportsmans..I have this Greensheet Pretty Direct was a mare..a damn good one too. And Childwood Hanover was a monster.
