    Hey! So I have a Røde shotgun microphone and a Canon Rebel T6I camera. Every time I plug in the mic to the camera and select my settings and put it to manual my audio never comes up, the bars don’t move like I’m talking and when I record it’s just static. I’ve moved the recording level too and that did nothing. Do you have any advice???

    I don’t think you should Have to wait till 2025 to buy an EV just because of the connector type? Especially because you can buy an adapter for $10-$4 I would wait for 2025 to get the new Models that will be priced under $30,000- $35,000 that are made in America and the batteries so you can take advantage of the $7500 rebate but they are great deals right now if you lease for two years for under $400 a month for Hyundai or Kia,Toyota BZ4X, Chevy Blazer EV or Ford Mach E been offered as great leases avoid the purchase drpreciation hit!. So if you wait till 2026 You might even see that new solid state batteries which will offer more range less danger from fires, more efficient, etc. CW says in 3025/26 thet will Have an GTI EV u der $25k For these readons I d wait but I don’t think you should not buy a car because of a charging connectors inability to charge your car. Well, maybe for ChadMo because who has that but leaf ?🤣

    Federal funding (called NEVI, typically) requires 150kW and it's up to the states if they want to support multiple connectors. This is a much older station built prior to NEVI funding.

    EVs are still a very new technology as far as an entire country goes here in America... It would be even better if we had less anti science weirdos who haven't a clue what they're saying half the time... You can be sure that in the next few years you'll be able to charge anything almost anywhere....especially in high traffic tourist zones and highly traveled areas like motels hotels restaurants and hospitals... Most will charge at home but those who need to charge will have no issues finding charging stations.. and fewer will be out of service

    The Nissan leaf had terribly out of date charging. Not a representative example of charging at all. Try a recent Tesla, Kia or Hyundai to experience the latest technology, and use Tesla chargers. Day and night difference.

    Just watched the whole thing with the family in the (gas) van. Traveling in an EV definitely seems like a different experience, although not necessarily bad. Did you use any route planning software ahead of time (abetterrouteplanner)? I've been looking at the Ford lightning which has an option for extra cooling, which seems like it'd be worth it.

    Every other modern EV has liquid battery cooling and no problems with overheating. That’s a Leaf problem, not an EV problem. The Leaf was a decent EV 10-15 years ago, but Nissan hasn’t updated it much over that time period, so it’s using relatively ancient EV technology and is probably the worst EV available today. If you can get one for super cheap and just want it for around town use, that’s one thing, but using one for road trips… well, you know how it went.

    How do you see smaller airports adapting to the rise of electric planes in terms of infrastructure and logistics?

  • @CarbonRadio
    @CarbonRadioАй бұрын

    In terms of infrastructure, I imagine charging stations will be the most significant addition, which would include in many cases new power infrastructure on airport or near airport property. I'm not sure about logistics. Probably some queuing issues depending on traffic and charging time. It could also be the case that ground operations vehicles use the same or co-located charging infrastructure or maybe it would be more ideal to not co-locate those chargers. It might also be possible in the more distant future to have chargers at every gate. Perhaps that would be for newly designed or renovated small regional airports.

    Ahhh, you want to tell us how in the world it is made? Hearing sustainable several times doesn't quite explain things sufficiently for me. You see biofuel was also touted as being "sustainable"... right up to when people realised it was being grown in place of food crops that fuel people- last I looked people need fed and there's quite a few of us these days. I too am concerned with carbon emissions and the toll they take on climate change and the limits of traditional petroleum. With that said please drill (excuse the pun) a bit deeper and explain how sustainable aviation fuel is actually made so I can understand the premise of "What is Sustainable Aviation Fuel?"

    CRT obviates the need for any thought, word or act of racism as proof of their presumed verdict. All they need is their preferred race measuring less favorably than another. Regardless of the cause: they declare their favored race to be victims of the other. Then they would use real government enforced discrimination in response to their presumed discrimination; altering laws, policies and practices to favor their preferred race. All for the stated purpose of forcibly making the measurements between races identical. The operative question is whether you support using government force to implement racial discrimination. All the rest is academic. My answer is no.

  • @CarbonRadio

    Appreciate you sharing your perspective. I’m still navigating the purpose of this channel, and academic use is certainly one of the purposes. As you can see from many of the recent posts, I’m starting with videos that focus on definitions and short explanations. I am thinking that future videos in the coming years will unpack different perspectives via interviews and other longer form formats.

    intellectual property should not be as overused as it is. Bro even dna can be intellectual properterty. I think there needs to be a balance of what can be intellectual property and how long it lasts and how expensive it is to license. But i disagree that just a free for all method should be the case because then innovators will not be properly payed for there innovation and thats just not fair.

    Management rule #1: Have a clear mission statement. Musk failed the first rule of business management by offering two unrelated mission statements. Musk: "Tesla should be thought of as an AI or robotics company." Also Musk: "The mission of Tesla is to accelerate the transition to sustainable transportation."

    1. This video should have been a tweet 2. Why so many movie clips??? 3. We don't know why they were fired. Maybe the expectation was higher than what they delivered. Just because it is the best charging network, does not mean that it could not have been better. Only Tesla's higher management has those insights so you are basing your opinion on partial information. The bar to built the best charging network was not that high since no one else was really trying. 4. By opening the charging standard, anyone can start building superchargers that support NACS. So, the dependency on Tesla to build the network is lower now. 5. Chill out.

  • @gr8dvd
    @gr8dvd2 ай бұрын

    What’s a "tweet"? …Oh, you mean an X post 😂 YT short would do too. Tesla/Musk as a pioneer and current leader in supercharger roll-out, they are not being faithful to their green/EV mission by not communicating a path forward beit govt. Tesla, other private initiatives (or combo). Communication and collaboration is not the forté of a narcissist… brilliant as Musk is.
