  You guys should really consider putting the kitchen and bathroom a few inches further to the rear and making it a front queen setup with bedroom storage cabinets above. Might have to move front door back a couple inches too. Then you would have what I want to buy: a 1/2 ton towable toy hauler with a front bedroom! I would love to see that offer as a third floorplan option for this 450 class.

  We recommend opting for the Energy Package 3. That will give you 800 watts of solar, 3,000 watt inverter, 60 amp charge controller, and 540 amp hours heated lithium battery power. 🙂

  We already bought a PLA 450. We didn’t get to customize it, it was just the one they already had on order but we would like to upgrade to that package after the fact. Would that be possible?

  The Energy Package 3000 utilizes different wire gauges and components so switching to it from an Energy Package 1 would be a lot of work. You can add more panels to your roof, though.

  Hello - Thanks for the video! I see a Gen-Y Gooseneck 5th Wheel pin box replacement on this rig. Question on that - Are they now approved by ATC for their 5th wheel trailers? Last time I checked: "ATC's policy is not to make recommendations. Keep in mind that if you change an item and your trailer is damaged because of the item you changed it could affect your warranty." That is not a yes, so not approved for ATC frames. Looking for a "yes" or "no" from ATC please - Are they approved by you for your 5th wheels so as not to affect the warranty? Thanks.

  I’m looking for something that’s mold-free, so is pretty much everything made of aluminum? I’m also chemically sensitive, so is it possible to get one of these as a shell and put your own materials inside? It looks good!

  Hey there, our toy haulers are made out of aluminum and use materials that resist water. There's no wood in the construction, so mold is less likely to form. We do not offer these as a shell but you could purchase a very basic model and configure it to your liking. 😁

  BTW .... We did go look at a couple of the ATC models and we are leaning toward the 4023 since it is only myself and my wife and of course or 4 legged baby girl. The sales person did say that we could load my gladiator in the back no issues

  It's a 30 amp trailer with power outlets and USB ports inside. It comes with a shore cord to plug into power too. There is no onboard gen but you could find a portable gen that works.

  The 4319 dimensional diagram shows the garage as 22' 6.75" from the back wall to the middle of the fridge / counter. I'm curious what the length is to the rear-most slide wall (when in) and also what is the width at the same location with the slide in? Thx!

  Its 19' 8 1/2" from the rear slide wall to the ramp door. When the slide is in, there is 74 5/8" from the fridge to the passenger side wall and 65" from the fridge to the passenger side wheel well.

  Why no induction stove? Better quality for a trailer that caliber would be better. Lots of trailer companies getting away of black tanks and using portable for easy access/cleaning and easy dumping.

  We are considering the ATC 4528 .... After reading quiet a bit of the reviews their seems to be a concern with the ramp weight capacity. What is your opinion on if the ramp could handle the weight of the jeep if used a lot? Thanks, David S.

Can you pull the jeep in far enough to put most of the weight over the axles. Most of the Gladiator weight would be the motor area and maybe the front seating area 2:05 2:05 @@aluminumtoyhauler

  Hey David, after a quick google search it looks like it'll fit. The entire weight of the vehicle should be over the axles and the weight of the Jeep Brad used in the video compared to the Gladiator is about the same. Biggest difference is the bed of the truck vs the Wranglers cargo area. Can't wait for you to check one out in person 😃

  A gasoline tank is not available on the Plā 450s but comes standard on the Plā 700 models.

  I cant believe this was filmed in the dark... nevertheless thank you, 4d wrangler in a toy houler. I had no idea. Question would you be able to load a two door seden eg Mustang etc..... would there be a ramp clearance issue?

  Depending on the trip, sometimes you have to load in the dark. 😆 We'll have some brighter ones coming later. Brad was gearing up for the next trip so we took advantage of the opportunity to show his jeep being loaded because sometimes people won't believe it until they see it! 😂 As for your question, we've seen people load all types of cars in the toy haulers and typically use race ramps to help with clearances. We've got dimensions on our website for the different flooplans we offer too.

  It's been tough getting RVs out to Canada the last couple of years and we do not have any dealers up there just yet. Quite a few of the dealers here that are close to the border are used to working with customers in Canada though. We are sure we could help you find something when the time comes. A lot could happen in two years too, and maybe we will have someone up there by then. 😄

  Hey thanks! The ramp opening is 95 3/4". There is a 76 3/4" of space between the dinette benches and fold up sofa when in the stowed position. We have a photo of more dimensions on our website. As for the happijac, there is 79" from the bed platform to the floor.

  Looks great! I've been waiting a long time for this, as I much prefer the convenience of a 1/2 ton truck over something larger. Is the kitchen shown in this video or the kitchen on the website more indicative of the final design? I see a different refrigerator here and some differences in the sink/stove locations/style. The 2011 in the previous RV show videos was a bit different as well. The rectangular sink looks to match the rest of the interior a bit better but it's certainly not a deal breaker. Also, this and the 2016 video mention that one battery comes with the Energy 1000 package, but the website and other sources just say that package comes with battery prep and a battery is optional. Does it come with one? Again...this hauler is rad and I need it now 😅. Thanks!

  Hey thanks! We are stoked you like it! The kitchen layout in this video will be the same and will have the square sink and the fridge that opens from both sides. The countertop will actually be the white solid surface that is offered in the 700 Series models. We have units coming off the line soon and will be working to get some fresh quick videos up on our Facebook and Instagram. As for the Energy Package, great catch! We will be updating the website to reflect what was said in the video. The unit will come standard with the Energy Package 1000 and that includes a lithium battery. 😊

  @@aluminumtoyhaulerThat's all great news and now I have no choice but to order one. It's out of my hands! I'm happy to hear that the white countertops will make it into the production version. Given the choice, I'd go white. Having that lithium battery there standard is awesome. It maximizes the usefulness of that super cool fridge. These 450s are fairly groundbreaking. They aren't just unique for ATC - there really isn't anything like them from other manufacturers. There are others this size but something's always off, like the tanks are comically small, excessive tongue weights, zero kitchen storage, made from tree bark & scotch tape, etc. Someone finally nailed it 👍

  Yes, it just depends on the option. If you are looking for more cabinets or different furniture, those bolt into the LifeTrac system and can be bought and installed any time.
