  When I was 15, it was nothing like this. It was 2001. It was more like… best gay friend and I go in the woods and kiss. 🤣 😈 Hahaha, at school though, it was myself and a group of friends all coming out at the same time, gay, bi and lesbians. At school near Washington, DC. In the "hood", you have to be assertive. You don’t really get to "come out" publicly. Rather… you don’t stay "in". If you’re not open about who you are, in general, or confident about every aspect of your life, everyone else will label you, gossip, and ask you about it until you confirm it. But not by saying "no, I’m not gay, I swear"! Ha, that BS never got us anywhere. So in 2001, we came out with a vengeance. 😂 😈 It was almost like we were… the reincarnated patrons of the Stonewall Inn, but modern gay youth, and… just not necessarily being violent. Lol. But more assertive. This straight guy looked at me one day in the hallway and said something like, "Gay pride!", a comment which instantly sounded shady to me, knowing he’s straight. I said "what the F*CK did you say to me?!" And he was a big guy. He was like "WOAH WOAH…I was just saying gay pride!" 🌈 Ah. Memories. 😆 🙄 Then I moved back home to SoCal and of course, nobody cared. But... I was the only actual out person for like the first six months I was back, but whatever. Haha.

  I loved the film. The whole movie is very good, except for the kiss. The reality is that I found this kiss boring. I didn't want to think like that, but this ending with that kiss disappointed me, but it doesn't take away from the fact that the film is still good.
