These are crazy crazy good! I hope you still create music, even if your instruments might be a little different now.
Akbar means "is great" in Arabic. Cool platformer video game vibes. I got into ModPlug Tracker in the late 90s, and then moved to Renoise, which I still use.
can please have turok.xm
where can i download eye_jack.xm
Nice Video ! Sub & Big Like ! And Love 3ds Games !
Where can I download this? I would buy this if it was on itunes
how do i get Fasttracker II on Window 10?
There is a native clone here 16-bits.org/ft2.php In the video I am running the original FT2 in DOSBox under Linux but it also runs on windows. I hope that helps! I believe I had to change the IRQ setting to 5 for the Soundblaster emulation it produce sound.
@@NoiseCommander3DS i found it earlier, but thanks dude
this is so cool! is there a github? i’m a student working in DSP and i’d love to contribute bug fixes or something.
This is so cool I'll definitely play with this over the summer. I'm sorry things are going rough for you, chronic pain is a miserable.
EPIC project :)
titune is so sassy. love a chip with some 'tude.
Very cool demonstration. Huge tracker fan so this sparks my interest. And I don't hate your voice, heh. It's got a bit of a Werner Herzog quality, so no worries.

The intro to Magic wings feels straight out of Zelda, but then it goes full Donkey Kong Country after that. It's such a nice switch from the prior track and it shows a real richness of texture and a great ability to evoke moods. Also the first two tracks are so funky, I can't get enough of them. This is just such a good set!!!!!
I absolutely love this stuff and the whole story on your post. Thanks for sharing. An amazing achievement
Thanks for commenting twice, I am extremely happy that you like the tracks so much. This is my most successful video :)
Why did you put an AI trigger warning in your title? Lame.
I got complaints and dislikes because of the AI images, I don't want anyone feel deceived by them.
very good stuff
excuse me fast tracker has SNAKE!?
Man, I haven't heard the name "Trash80" in ages. I had no idea they were behind that tracker. It's cool to hear they're still having fun.
incredible!
Holy moly, this is is super cool! I played around with some of the korg apps on 3ds a while ago, but didn't anticipate anyone would go and create an application like this! Thanks for sharing it, I'll have try it sometime :D
Thanks, please subscribe to not miss future updates :)
Nice songs. Enjoy them a lot. Brings back memories.
Damn youtube with the random gem recommendations again. Rawdata's probably my favorite.
I used the rawdata as end-boss music in an attempt of a hobby video game back then. It was written in Delphi for windows - I will try to show it in a future video if I can make it run. There was some tracker-player library I used for it, maybe MikMod or something. Later I tried making another game inspired by Shining Force but I never finished it. Thanks for commenting!
This swings hard!
Faderfox is a really good option.
Good call
NanoKeys Studio seems really good; a lot on a compact controller … Bluetooth, too … just missing sliders, but there’s a NanoKontrol Studio, too … No Bluetooth on the basic NanoKontrol 2, right? BCR2000 is being ‘released’ as the BCR32, with built-in Zaquencer, I believe? MIDI Fighter is cool.
You are correct about the BCR32, I found a german article with a picture: www.bonedo.de/artikel/behringer-bcr32-zwischenstand-zum-neu-aufgelegten-bcr32-controller-mit-zaquencer/ A bluetooth version of the NanoKontrol would be amazing, the 2 doesn't have it. Thanks for commenting :)
I love how you personally tweak the volume up and down during the song transitions, it makes it feel like we're watching a recording of a live performance you did in a chiptune venue somewhere.
Haha, yes thank you. It was also an occasion to show everyone how bad I am at playing nibbles :D
Chapters would be a cool addition!
Added :)
Very cool of you to show us your MIDI controller collection. I think this video will be very useful for those who want to get a glimpse of what discontinued controllers might be interesting to look for on the used market, as it's pretty hard to get an idea about stuff that's not made anymore. I think it's really interesting that there is a definite lack of sturdy, non-plastic MIDI controllers out there. Much love.
First one is like Penis Eek! But its outro
This video was disliked - I wonder whether it's because of the misleading title? I feel a bit guilty. It was meant as satire of titles making blunt assumptions about the viewer like "you suck as human being, buy my product to become acceptable to society". But I guess I am a hypocrate as I perpetuate that by exploiting it. What do you think.
The unrelated videogame screenshot is the problem.
I was in the mood to know something about midi that I might not know, since I've mostly just sold all of my midi controllers I've gotten over the years, because I dislike them, so maybe this video had something that might change that. I only skimmed the video to get to the bit that isn't a collection showcase, so if there was anything I was actually interested in, I missed it. So I'm disappointed, and I would assume the dislikes are mostly about that thumbnail/title combo.
For some weird reason, people don’t seem to like being deceived … 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️😉
@@kierenmoore3236 Gotcha. I changed the title + thumbnail accordingly. I apologize.
I reverted the title + thumbnail to be honest. I apologize. I did it because I am insecure about youtube and believed that blick-bait is required to compensate for bad content. Maybe youtube isn't for me or I need to keep trying a few more years. I am ashamed. I am not in a good place in general, feeling pretty down. I am aware that it's not a good excuse.
I use a pair of ableton push controllers one for each hand, and treat the rig like its a guitar of sorts for the most part. Have about 10000 unfinished symphonies, lol. I save em because each has at least one groovy element, perhaps segments to edit into other tunes down the road. Party on Garth, party on.
That sounds cool and fun! I suppose the push's are nice, never tried them
Novation Launch Control XL, old Vestax VCM 600 are my two favs , sold vestax recently as I dont play out anymore but it was a great controller, for drumpads I always enjoyed m-audio trigger finger (mk1) soft pads really nice and easy to use...i always wanted that bitstream but heard it had programming issues..
Oh yeah, I should have tried launch control XL, no idea why I didn't. The VCM 600 looks super nice also. You do remind me of a huge issue I came across with the bitstream in relation to NRPNs. I believe NRPNs are inherently 14 bits but the poti resolution is capped at 128. So there is some programming trickery involved with that where it will skip large value chunks as you turn the knob. In my case I believe I had an enum parameter like LFO shapes for the novation mininova with a small range like 0-10. It was impossible to hit those values due to the resolution thing. So yes, NRPNs are a pain with the bitstream. But it's still amazing besides that.
Amazing how we seem to actually lose advances in technology (note how many manufacturers are currently adding stereo samples as a premium feature...was obligatory 20 years ago). The Bitstream 3x was an absolute gem that seemed to give you almost Octatrack level control but across any midi devices...yet it is now gone! So weird!
I think lost may not be the right word, I think the bitsream was an isolated peak. I wish more manufacturers would add innovative features like that.
wAhnslnn.. just wow , most of this is pure gold no doubt about it
Maybe I ought to get a 3ds. I've got nitro tracker for the original ds, this one seems so much better.
I can think of plenty to complain about but some of the pros are that it has simple chopping, audio recording, generative sequencing, DJing capability, more sample RAM than the DS, mixbuses and in the latest version introduces basic effects. I think the biggest con is the under-developed sequencer but I will address it in the near future. Nitro tracker is really nice for it's own reasons too.
Gravis Ultrasound 😃
I never had one myself - I was content with the Soundblaster 16. For anyone wondering, here is a video about the Gravis Ultrasound kzread.info/dash/bejne/a2ajzsqbcpaxe7A.html&pp=ygURZ3JhdmlzIHVsdHJhc291bmQ%3D I did own the Gravis Gamepad so that I could play Jazz Jackrabbit and One Must Fall 2097 properly though
@@NoiseCommander3DS allright. I upgraded from sbpro to gus to gus pro? The one with rom in addition ro ram expansion. Just noticed the GUS in the video 😅
Those crunchy chords. Absolute masterpiece.
you've spread a little joy around the world here by uploading this. great stuff!
100%
Great compil, dude
Beautiful tunes you made! Ghalimah-shub di dey, Trip to tp8, Gangtaz in Akbar and Keine Ahnung are my favourites. Will be the .xm modules available public?
KZread's gotta stop on the trash, this is a GREAT example of what KZread should recommend me!
I am astonished. Every single track is a banger. Each one has a full vibe, interesting drums, and something special at the core. To viewers: live your best life and play this one until the end. To the Boss: i'm starting to believe you are not of the mortal realm... 😅 Thank you for this INCREDIBLE Work. ❤
Thank you for the kind words and for supporting Noise Commander 3DS! I feel like Al Bundy, like this was one of my greatest achievements as a youngster before entering grinding world of 9-5, it's my "four touchdowns in a single game". I have never been as productive with all the gear I ended up buying as I was with only using Fasttracker 2. Limitations really do foster creativity. The demo scene with all of it's musicians providing food for inspiration was probably also a hugely helpful factor. Radix and Jogeir Liljedahl were my two favourite artists but there were literally thousands of others. Fasttracker 2 has an extremely user friendly user interface on top of that, so inviting.
Had one on my Amiga
Music second like relax perfect favorite brother
Yayy!! More awesome music! Also by the way, update from conversation on the last video: I been learning Fast Tracker 2 like a boss and I am composing my first song in it right now. thank you very much for helping me out with my questions! ^ ^
I enjoy re-discovering FT2 also. Let me know if you have more questions. One particular feature I love is the multiple available copy/paste slots for the effects column. You can paste from a slot by pressing Alt + any number key. And to store / copy into a slot you press Shift + Alt + any number key. This is quite a time saver.
@@NoiseCommander3DS thank you for the awesome support, if I have any questions I'll let you know, though I think I am fine now. I really am rockin at using FT2 now. Thank you for helping me out. ('U')

Folks used to write banjo songs by campfire, now it's Gameboys by LED backlight.
Hehe, yepp. I had borrowed a sega game gear when I was a kid and secretly played it under my blanket when I was supposed to be asleep - I was an early adopter of nightly melatonin disruption :D
when you finish this app will it be free to use?
It's "pay what you want" but 1 Euro minimum via patreon membership. There are no limitations, expiration date or DRM built into the app. You can use it forever as long you don't uninstall it.
Could you make it possible to switch screens on Nintendo DS by using a certain key combination, so that the parameters from the upper screen would move to the lower one and could be changed there with a stylus? It would greatly simplify tasks like writing a sequenc and change settings.
I'll keep it in mind and look into it - I had planned that at some point but lost track. It's definitely possible but will require some code refactoring. I know that Nitro Tracker and the Korg DS-10 app have that sort of interface.
