Thank you for producing this video Ruth Okimoto. My parents were Japanese-Americans. They were relocated from Los Angeles to Poston. I was born in camp in 1942. I don't remember much about it because I was just a baby but my Mother told me about the life there and how she had to fight to obtain food for my sustenance. My Mom and Dad were glad when they were allowed to move to Cleveland in 1945.

Hello and Happy Holidays! How far in advance should we register for next year's event? My wife and I just started stair climbing over this past summer and did the US Bank building YMCA stair climb event in September. This event in Bisbee looks like a lot of fun! Thank you, Marc

The warranty is garbage. The product is garbage. The employees are garbage. My Outfitter 55 arrived directly from Canyon with extremely sharp edges that would cut your hand open and uneven latch closures. When I reached out about switching it for a defect-free model, I was told to go ahead and file a claim, so I did. John Martin from E-retail replied and denied the claim as 'cosmetic'. I was told to "take some sandpaper to the rough spots and work it out". I'd just spent over $300 purchasing a cooler directly from them and their solution was to have me sand away their defects? And then deny my warranty claim? When I explained that I felt this was terrible service his response was, to paraphrase, "tough luck, buddy. Return the cooler." The company is garbage and I'll share this experience with every AT club I hike with, every family that participates in our BSA Troop, every fly fishing group I belong to in the DC region, as well as every Shenandoah backcountry SAR group I work with. Anytime I ever hear anyone mention Canyon- this will be shared.

I walked this route yesterday. It is interesting and difficult as I am from a lower elevation and only did two 4 miles walks on level ground at this altitude before trying it. The altitude of Bisbee is 5300 so there is lower oxygen density at this altitude. It was not impossible, but simply takes a fair amount of rest and it's good to have water at my current level of conditioning One can stop and be relatively close to the starting point on half the route, if one so chooses. I will be doing the route multiple times in the next 30 days to improve my cardiovascular and leg strength considerably.

The funding would be good. I'm not so sure the increased traffic would do the park any good although, the increased parking & camping might help to manage just a little depending on how the visitors treat or respect the land & its nature. The need for more park employees would be needed also. Hope for the best!!!

I've been picking up trash in the desert on my walks for years. There's no excuse for being a slob with trash; pick it up, keep Arizona beautiful! I Love Arizona! It's amazing how much trash can be bagged in just half an hour! The wisdom-words hikers used from the 1970's still hold true: "Pack it in, Pack it out!" Don't just haul out your own trash, pick up trash that others have left behind as well. Let your love show, make it real!

SCOTT, I'm 85 and cowboy'd up in central Arizona on 200 sections west of Sedona! I've seen the "Elephant" and you have the best, and most accurate reproductions of real cowboy life that exists to day. Are you a relative of my friends, the Verde Valley Baxter's? After over half a century of real cowboy life, I thank you for giving me great memories! Find me at www.lastdkcowboy.com
