It once had a more quaint atmosphere with a shoreline, the new boardwalk makes walking the beach area easier but it did change the look of things. It was my first there so I have only seen how it used to be in old videos. Still a cool place.

No only smoking is ground floor near the shop n 3 floor in carpark from casino! Had just booked 5 nights there n gf was so spooked, lucky I winn 30k in casino n we check out early next day lol

It has scuba diving, snorkeling and boat trips during the day and an active nightlife scene due to the red light district. You can pick out the hookers as you walk around town. Depending on what you are after you may love it there or get bored quickly. There are many places to visit that are better than here especially if you already have a wife or girlfriend. It is an interesting place, I will give it that. The bikini 👙 bar was fun for an afternoon. That is the floating bar in the bay. Very cool place to hang out and chill. Great food and restaurant options. It was worth checking out but I will try new places before I would return here. Thanks for the comment.

It is mostly for trikes and scooters. At least the main area by the beach. The roads are narrow and it is the busy part of town. It is where all the action takes place. We stayed at the Tropicana Hotel a few blocks from the beach. Very nice place for about $32. It is a dive location with a red light district. It had good restaurants and was fun to go there, but not a place I would go back to. El Nido, Siargo and Borocay are levels above this place.

It is a tourist town with all the normal things a tourist town in the Philippines has. But El Nido is a special place, a bucket list destination that everyone should visit. Stay thirsty my friend.

It is kinda a standard meal. I was under the weather that day so I didn’t eat much. That is what Filipinos want when given the option. The food scene in Cebu city is much more diverse.

Well, we went there from Ormoc to buy some trees to plant on our land. There is a nice nursery there with lots of plants and trees 🌴. Trying to get some fruit trees growing. It is also where we left for a boat tour to go island hopping, or at least it was close to Baybay City. I enjoy seeing different areas of the Philippines. 🇵🇭. I will post a video for you of where we ate at the port in Baybay.

@@dave-d-grunt well, things are back to normal, as normal as the Philippines can be anyway. Things are more expensive but that can be said everywhere. The coast of Leyte has lots of nice towns. I spend a fair amount of time in Ormoc as Hana is from there. We also travel around the islands and check out various places. All in all, Leyte is as good as place as any to call home. Time to find your way back. Take care.

It was in Boracay. We went on a boat tour and this was where they took us for a lunch. This was a side show there for taking pictures or videos. The water needed to be warmer to call it relaxing, but it makes a good video.

It really is. It has a view of the ocean about 3 miles away, it has a gentle slope and is about 1.3 acres in size. We had to get a fence up to keep the neighbors cows from damaging the trees we planted.

The small Mango Trees are 150 to 180 pesos each. The Cacao trees were 300 pesos each. Other prices varied depending on the type and size of the tree. All in all it seemed very fair.
