Looks good
Much respect to the gym and all its members
Yeh…..
Please dont bring the heel down, you're going to hyperextend your partner's knee. So many people show this version and it is HORRIBLE. Just last month, I had a new blackbelt came to our dojo (but he was old and learned this somewhere) and he hyperextended 3 of his partners in standing uchikomi. We had several talked with him already and told him he cant do this anymore. And Tai Otoshi is a hand technique, and in the original text by Kano, you dont even need to move your leg outside of the uke's leg. All these addons she did is because shes compensated for bad kuzushi from her hands. If you do it correctly, you literally dont need any of these risky addons.
It´s a dangerous application, because trying put the heels down, you hyperxtend your knee, and the knee can be broke, wich the uke´s weight.
It allows you to spring the opponents defending leg away. As long as your knee faces down at the end of the technique its fine. Its important to have the knee facing down in case the opponent falls on your leg that gives you the release of the weight.
I see what you mean though i would be lifting my heel and on the ball of my foot. especially with the heavy guys.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👊
Didn’t see the bottom foot work on this video ….
Thats a great seotoshi
💙💙💙💙👏👏👍👍
Beautiful solid technique
Oh man where is karma at 👀
An Einstein Brown belt probably has tech for decades. It would be awesome to train with these guys.
works on the mat but too dangerous for a bar or convenient store. too great a chance of falling down or being pushed by a bystander.
What to do afterwards?
like american express - cant leave home without it.
The way you did it is called Seoi Otoshi.
Judo Women are so sexy!
No forearm block flip? First thing to train with kama is rotating them in the hand and learning to flip them backward so the handle protects the forearm in a block.....without cutting yourself.... where's my plasters and germolene?
Just Horrible throw!! Wow, that second one!!
:)))))))) .... oh, dat drop sound!
yes honey, its my turn to do the dishes again.
Nice
nice!
Conheço por Seoi Otoshi, pois o Tai Otoshi é pegando na gola (Eri) empurrado tipo um pé de ouvido rodando sem encostar no corpo do Uke
😊😊😊Nice. Thank you for the great tutorial.
Great explanation and demonstration! Thank you!
Otoshi is pronounced otoshee, not otosh. Grip is not correct for the standard technique.
this is seoi otoshi,
@groszek Do you train ?😅
Interestingly when she demonstrates kuzushi and tsukuri - it is tai otoshi footwork, but when doing kake she converts it to seoi otoshi. Kumikata - proper to start, then converts it to morote seoi nage. Standard tai otoshi hand movement is lapel driven into the collar bone and chin of an uke. Overall an interesting throw but certainly not in the gokyo. Overall I would personally call it a morote seoi otoshi.
Yes, I do. I also coach.
Works for her though.
❤❤❤❤ trop bien c’est mon papa
I know that this video is old and i wont get a response but what is the name of this kick
the one he throws on the stomach? that’s a teep/front kick/push kick
Prohibited in BJJ until certain belt
This is Sambo brother!
I think it depends on the academy and the instructors. My coaches start teaching leg submissions as early as a white belt (3 stripe white belt and above). But even then, it's mainly heel hooks and toe holds. Sometimes we even learn knee bars and calf slicer, if the coaches trust us to learn the technique safely.
speak English
I've been waiting my entire life to see this !
Thank you I think the arm to chest thing will help me a lot
Trying to put the arm under the armpit, during a randori or a shiai, can disrupt your balance more easily
This leg lock can break the knee joint (crossed ligments) and put anyone out of combat.
I do Kung fu at his dojo
I also do kung fu at his dojo to lol
Hi Ivan
I remember when I was three I took martial arts lessons and my teacher gave me a plastic one still have it till this day.

The farm weapons which used by villagers and ninja for defenses
Wow. It's been over two years already.

My Cosch Silvue
Whats he like walaalo? I am starting his boxing
cool interview, he's a technical genius in judo
Was hoping we'd get to see it all put together and demonstrated at the end
What is the counter to that chole
Called morote otoshi. Different from tai osothi.
Well morote seoi toshi, is a shoulder throw….her throw is definitely a tai otoshi with uki falling across her extended leg, not over her shoulder
Great to see you back on the road!
Thank you! Life affects us all, but we keep moving forward! OSS!
Were there double edged?
Gyutaro would do it better
I'm an experience amateur swordsman, but I came here to learn how to better describe how to fight with kamas for a short story I'm working on. Aside from swords and staff weapons, I have a difficult time describing the fighting styles of other weapons.
