It boggles the mind when we stop and think about the billions and billions of factors that had to fall perfectly into place on the path to human beings. The Fermi Paradox is out the window. In all likelihood, we are alone at least in this galaxy.

The real question is.. you are basically paying the money to be preserved. What if the actual resurrection costs millions? What if you could be revived, but you didnt actually pay enough, so there is no economical way for them to actually do what they promised in a time where they didnt know shit? Also.. it's not like you could pay them after you got revived. The assets and wealth of the average person will be redistributed after they died. When you get revived, you have nothing. To the company it's literally like reviving a homeless person. I mean.. not like that.. you ARE a homeless person. I didnt look into this too much. Idea sounds great on paper, but then these thoughts started to pop up pretty much seconds later. So how is it supposed to work? Or are they just selling you the "yeah yeah we are freezing you buddy" promise and nobody really questions what's happening afterwards?

I usually find the kurzgesagt videos quite complete with their data research. The problem with the values of GHG for nuclear energy though is that they tend to change quite strongly depending on the source (factor 1 to 100). In the worse case (factor 100), nuclear energy could even be considered worse than coal. All the scientific research with this topic agrees with the problem that there is a huge uncertainty with the calculation of the emission factor. This could also be to the fact that our society hasn't experienced a lot of deconstructions of old nuclear power plants and that the only case studies show that it takes much longer and that the efforts are much harder than initially planned. The problem of this uncertainty should have been at least mentioned as it could turn the whole analysis around. Nevertheless, thanks for this beautiful video

Wasn’t there another Kurzgesagt video that talked about how in the early universe the temperature of the whole universe was warm enough that it could basically all potentially harbor life? I suppose temperature isn’t the only factor in the suitability, or lack thereof, for life though
