    I was glad to at least watch this match online. Management may need to reiterate to 'linesmen' that they are to remain alert and ensure they have a keen eye. Good recording angle and a well lit court.

    After you get a sponsorship then what?

  • @rawlemaycock4910
    @rawlemaycock49102 ай бұрын

    Road Tennis needs an aggressive Public Relations and Marketing officer,someone whom can attract the Sponsors,and give milage in the process, Each Tournament must have a theme based around that sponsor enterprise etc.

    Tournament shouldn't be played without the correct funding by the organizers. The BRTA funding these sideshows isn't their function. No money No play .

  • @roadtennis4life
    @roadtennis4life6 ай бұрын

    Do not agree with you, Vilmoure. This is not a sideshow ..this is where all the top players are develop and the community organizers are not given any resources or credit when players like laga burst on to the national seen.

  • @vilmourejackman5977
    @vilmourejackman59776 ай бұрын

    @@roadtennis4life sideshow as relates to how these tournaments are organized. If the financial responsibilities falls on the BRTA . Then every Tom , Dick and Harry will be a promoter looking for a bail out . Set a budget and ONLY when you're financially ready then host the tournament.

    I'm sorry there were some calls that went against Dale Johnson, it appears certain players aren't to lose in any competition they play in. This cannot be good for the sport, players cannot be favored by the official, they themselves must be unbiased in the sport.

    This is an outstanding idea..Please bring more vintage tennis to KZread…I was in that crowd at the time as well as the game featuring Tiny and Charlsey..👌🏿👌🏿I hardly ever missed any significant games in the 80s..Both players outstanding and although St George won this tournament Sox was the more dominant player of that time..I salute you Punchers tv🙌🏾🙌🏾✌🏾🇧🇧🍾🥂🥂

    Both these outstanding young players remind me of the greatest left hander to ever hold a road tennis racquet by the name of Mr *Tiny* Jordan who was #1 when I left Barbados late 80s early 90s god rest his soul….Charles *McEnroe* Griffith was #2..and a slim and trim Antonio *lil man* Daniels was #3….This is great tennis..very decent commentary..🇧🇧✌🏾🍾🥂

    Who would you say was #3 back then🤷🏽‍♂️..I remember #1 and #2 would flip flop between Charlsey n Tiny for sure…I was trying to remember if Charlsey was #1 b4 his lil time in prison…..The games on deacons courts back then were legendary….So was there a definitive #3🤷🏽‍♂️….

  • @roadtennis4life

    From my knowledge, Tiny never beat Charley's in tournaments. Tiny only dominated tennis when Charley's was in prison.

    I saw Tiny beat Charlsey with my own eyes at Deacons…Tiny played better tennis when money was at stake…But Charlsey dominated everybody back then…He was and still is my all time favorite player..Hope he is still around and in good health and strength..🇧🇧✌🏾🍾🥂🥂🥂
