Just want to say that you know everybody does it differently but I always have free date conversations with guys because of lets me know whether I'm going to be bored when I get there in person. If we don't flow in conversation we're definitely not going to flow when we get together. It's much better to know where people are coming from before you actually go out on a date with them. You don't have to call them from your actual phone just let them know that I'm getting to know you. It's okay to be honest and say I'm doing things I'm with my family I am hanging out with my girls. That will let you know whether he's so insecure or whether he's so needy or not. He doesn't have to know exactly where you live or your true telephone number. It says privilege to be with you and vice versa. My way of talking first and getting to know who they really are helps because it separates that thing of do you really want to be with them or you just horny? Sometimes we can fall in love with the eye candy and not really know who that man is. It's work for me. By the time we get together we really want to get together.

Omg your story definitely reminded me of a problem I had with this guy, that was my friend for 6 years, so yeah we were REALLY close friends and we were really pinning one each other but never at the same time. So then he got a boyfriend and I was okay with it because I didn’t like him at that time. Then he broke with him and like some months later I confessed to him and he also said he liked me so then we were talking more and seeing each other more often. The problem starts when I started to struggle with academic stuff and he didn’t leave me alone. He was TOO clingy, he would say stuff like “I’m so ugly” and “I don’t know why you like me” which made uncomfortable and know I think “why did I even like him in the first place??” So yeah, he didn’t respect my time and he would get so MAD when I didn’t respond to him quickly like I tried to explain to him my mom would ground me or I just didnt have a lot of time for my phone but he would get TOO dramatic. He would start spamming messages and one time even tried to show up to my house after when I told him I wasn’t even there🙄. Then the problem got too stressful for me because no matter how much I explained it to him he would starts saying “I’m so sorry it’s all my fault I won’t do it again” (spoiler: he lacked of self esteem) and I just didn’t like it because he apologized for EVERYTHING.. So then this problem happened, while I was struggling with him I also had a toxic friend who would help me out by giving me tips about what to do about him. But this one day she texts me saying she texted me asking him ALL about us?? And our “love story” which she made fun of and it wasn’t the first time she randomly texts someone i know saying lies about me and them. So I obviously had a fight with her and also him because he didn’t even know her and said “yeah we are together” and started saying Radom lies about me to her. She sent me screenshots so then I asked to him because in the first place why would he tell a stranger LIES about me?? He then later said “omg I’m so sorry I guess i trust too quickly people” 🤨 Anyways the real problem happens when he gives me a love letter saying how much he loved and how much he waited for me all these years. And it was really sweet but the thing I later told him I wasn’t feeling stable enough to have a relationship because of school. He took it okay but NOT EVEN A WEEK LATER HE GETS BACK WITH HIS EX😭😭 I was not even mad just disappointed. It really opened my eyes about how he can’t stand to be alone and how he will just take the first person who wants to be with him. So yeah, he then later apologized and I said okay and we finished in good terms. Which I WASNT😣… But thankfully now I just look back and say ew because he only caused me stress by making me think I was the rude one with him. Right now I unfollowed him because he started calling me “cute” nicknames and spammed me messages. And I just felt really uncomfortable with keeping that relationship. Thank god I’m not talking to him and my toxic friend 🙏🙏

To the girlies who don’t want to say you’re a content creator on casual dates, maybe say you “consult with brands on product marketing to help them reach their desired audiences“ or something along those lines. Or that you work in marketing. If they ask where you can say you’re an independent contractor or consultant. It’s not a lie but it doesn’t divulge too much info. 😊
