Why do some homes have metal guards over windows and doors and some don’t apart from the obvious
Hi Colin, some people don't like them so they don't have them installed. They are originally a symbol of power / wealth (the more powerful families would have the nicest grills or rejas in Spanish) but now it's mainly for security although people do go a bit extra sometimes.

This is a definite case of location location location. Sadly. House is a terrible design and of poor build quality. You shouldnt have beam posts in every room. So id level it and rebuild. Retank that fantadtic pool. Hard landscape. Damn! 1 million euro build and my budget is a quarter of that.

I think it is lovely - although needs a bit of an internal uplift and some better landscaping rather than so much of that nasty gravel - but at that price it leaves enough for that and still be a reasonable price. I love the shape of the house walls.

Extremely well maintained house, well planned for elderly people. There is just one thing missing...a solar system which will be easy to fit.
Yes it's a beautiful home and very well located. Solar would be easy to install and would cost in the region of 5,000-6,000 Euros with a cloud backup system.

Hi @schneemann-hh1cf ! We are in the South of Spain next to the largest desert of Europe (Tabernas). You can drink water from the tap, buy bottled water or we also have tasty mountain water delivered to your door! We are currently facing a drought in Spain so everything is much drier than normally. It's a stunning area, you should come and see it before making these comments as there are lovely green areas very close to us.

@@jacquiashton656 By law you can't, but pool companies will install them in the ground. Another point is that the way the villa is raised, you could install an above ground pool at the front of the villa and then deck or terrace round it and it would be like an in ground pool.
