What kind of tires was everyone running? Did anyone seem to have an easier time because of their tire choice?Very nice video. Looking to make it out there from SA soon.

Thank you thank you...I needed to see how to disassemble the switch so as to tighten the loose throttle tube. As an aside, I have been successful cleaning the start switch by spraying contact cleaner in the gaps beside the switch and rocking the switch back and forth until it freed up! Thanks again!!

Velcro the brake lever, so it doesn’t roll, point the front wheel to the sky. Squat with a straight back and cup your hands under the bar end, so you’re facing the bike. Look up, and lift with your legs, and walk forward. Trust me, it’s easier because it obeys the physics of leverage, and you can see where you’re lifting and where you’re lifting your bike towards. With the technique in the video, you a) can’t see where you’re going, and b) it’s harder to lift.

Hello everybody. I would like to share with you my solution to the problem of the kill switch button being difficult to press. Just as shown in the video the white tab with the spring is the problem. However, it is not necessary to remove it completely. The real problem is that the spring is a little too long and makes the tab move less easily. I simply cut off a small piece of the spring at one end and then lubricated it with white grease. You really have to start cutting a very small end of the spring (a first stitch) and adjust as needed. Now my button works great with no loose.

I am looking for a classic style bike to navigate the trails at Big Bend. I'm really interested in the Triumph Scramblers. I would like to be able to transport in the bed of my 2019 Ford Ranger Pickup with a 5ft bed so I am kind of leaning towards the Scrambler 900. I was wondering of that would be enough bike to traverse the terrain there. Not worried about heavy dirt bike riding, just mainly for the views and secret hiding places that you can only get to with a bike. What do you guys thing? Anyone with experience with the Scramblers? 900, 1200 CX or 1200 EX? Any advice on a bike? My biggest obstacle is the 5' bed length to transport from Katy, TX to Big Bend.

I use these on my Honda xr650r dirt bike in Michigan UP sugar sand. I can run much faster than I can with a Dunlop 696 knobby. The continental doesn’t disturb the deep sand nearly as much as the knobby. Giving a smooth stress free ride at speeds up to 100 mph. I love these tires and onlookers just stare in amazement as I fly by. The bike is only 300 pounds but it loves them too. Thank you continental
