Akari, despite her youthful vitality, succumbed to the illness. Doma, consumed by an unholy grief, felt his meticulously constructed piety crumble. His faith could not save her, his love could not reach her. Driven by a twisted desperation, Doma remembered a forbidden scripture whispered amongst the older monks. Tales of a being who could defy death, who could manipulate flesh and form. With trembling hands, Doma delved into the forbidden texts, a dark pact forming in his mind. He summoned Kibutsuji, the progenitor of demons, sacrificing his humanity for a twisted chance to save Akari. Transformed into a demon, Doma rushed to her side, his newfound power surging through his veins. But it was too late. Akari lay still, her vibrant beauty dimmed by the cold touch of death. Tears, a grotesque parody of human emotion, welled up in Doma's inhuman eyes. In a moment of monstrous clarity, he realized the horrifying truth: the power he craved wasn't resurrection, but a twisted consumption. His hunger, fueled by the essence of Kibutsuji, demanded life force. Driven by a warped sense of possession and a hunger that gnawed at his very core, Doma did the unthinkable. He consumed Akari, hoping to preserve her beauty within him. But the act only served as a catalyst, awakening a ravenous hunger that could never be satiated.   This is what a cover should be about, especially on that solo , not a 100% note for note copy but still very true to the original. the last few years of my guitar playing I have been practicing very heavily with Joe Satriani music and I play this song multiple times a week (studio version and live version) so i'm very familiar and I gotta say...I really like your version and one night i'm gonna try and play it your way cause it sounded fantastic!
