  This is supposed to be a beginners tutorial step by step, yet you sped up the video assuming as beginners we know how to draw folds. This is not a great tutorial for beginners. If you do another, can you please keep it at real time to help us beginners know what to do?

  Hi, I hope you are doing well. I am commenting here you to ask something as I believe you are the right person to ask, as you work with amazing people all around the globe and create meaningful illustrations for your clients. As I talk about myself, I am beginning in my illustration career and have approximately 1.5 years' experience. Mostly have an experience to work digital with clients like editorial or educational related. But don't have any experience to work for publishing or print purpose like children book illustrations. Could you guide or assist me like how to design children book illustrations those who have not done before? I have only basic knowledge of CMYK and 300 Resolution to design for print. Additionally, or do you know any resources that sheds light on this subject regarding the practical or layout thing that would give me some idea regarding that what to keep in mind when designing for children book kind of projects. Apart from that, I have watched every video on KZread or Skillshare but my query is not getting clear. Hope you understand, and if you have spare time kindly guide me about this.   Hello Mahnoor, the layout and dimensions are unique to every book. I would suggest you to watch the youtube videos of Anoosha Syed, She has great amount of knowlege in her long form videos that I think would be helpful, best of luck!

  she has the white highlights as being dominant while the black shadows are on the left, it should be more dominant black dots with the white being the highlight on the left. poor observation. looks more like orange peel than pores
