I just did my backhandspring by myself for the first time ever on the floor ❤ then my sister came out to see , so i showed her . Then after like 2 times of me doing it and her telling me all the things im doing wrong , she goes “i hope you have a mental block and can never do it again 😢” then ive tried 8 more times and i cant do it for the life of me 😭😭😭😭😭 idk what to do to be able to do it again but im so sad bro !

Hi! You can still do gymnastics for fun without going to classes, I personally don't have any experience with gymnastics classes but I can imagine they are hard to find. Wait thanks to you I saw a one handed cartwheel technique in your video that helped me get my side aerial TODAY that’s the skill that started me in gymnastics thanks

Hi! First of all amazing that you got your side aerial! :) and as for the back hand spring it’s definitely one of the harder skills to get, what helped me the most was practicing on a soft surface and to do back walkovers, but gradually jumping into them more and more until it sort of became a back handspring!

I do the same. I’m 26 years old and can do a backflip and frontflip on the ground. I can walk and stand still on my hands and do various other tricks. There is no purpose but I just like doing it and it keeps me active. I learned everything alone aswell and since I’m a teacher in elementary school I can inspire the kids aswell. Plus it’s a cool party trick haha

This was really interesting! Did you do a specific stretching routine every day? And how long would you stretch per session? Right now I'm doing a 25 min stretch twice a week, not really with the goal of doing gymnastics, but more for dance. But it does look interesting... I wonder if I could incorporate a shorter stretch on the other five days.

I usually did different routines that I found on KZread, and they were around 10 minutes. What you’re doing sounds great too, and if you feel like stretching more often that’s going to help your flexibility a lot!
