I’m in the process of doing this same job and 6 out of 14 broke I’m going to say I hit the lottery. And I tried my hardest but the dam tensioner moved on me so I pray to god I can get it with the coat hanger. My advice is if you’re not an experienced mechanic, I’m not talking about changing spark plugs by watching KZread I mean a knuckle buster kind of guy then I would not attempt this job. Js

I done a few of these. to remove the metal sleeve gasket, use a long flat head screw driver and hammer to lightly tap at the lip of the metal gasket inward and it will collapse. And don't install the gasket along with the filter, install the metal gasket first, insert it in by hand then use a long (same diameter) socket to tap it until seated, then install the filter. After you done a few, this job will become easier.

I didn't watch the whole video but if this is another bypass that creates a key on engine off power to the fuel pump everybody should know this is extremely unsafe if you were to crash the car the engine stalls and the fuel line ruptures and the key is left on your feeding the fire with fuel you never wire a fuel pump with key on engine off power it seems nowadays people do it all the time they even have patents on the Dodge kits that people buy for their fuse boxes but they are unsafe they've been flagged we have called the authorities on these people they've even gotten patents on their designs and they are extremely unsafe think about it you don't want constant power to the fuel pump with the key on what can happen in an accident if the engine stalls and a fuel line ruptures no manufacturer wires a car like that there are bypasses for the Dodges but they're done by splicing wires and creating a new fuel pump external relay that is computer controlled which means it gets power for a couple seconds when the key is turned on only until the engine is running then it's overtaken by either RPM signal or oil pressure switch

Ugh, I've replaced R203 TWICE now, and just spent all afternoon diagnosing a crank, no start condition. 203 *looked* okay still, but I noticed some melting on the center blade where the box has had bad connectivity before. Took the cover off the relay and all looked okay, so I slightly bent the blade to maybe help hold onto the contacts on the box better. Expy fired up after that but if that wasn't a redneck fix idk what is. About to pull the whole box to replace r303 and might just do this bypass while I have it out.

You did not say how you drilled out the broken stud. Here is how I did it so you do not have to pull engine to get to the back bolts. I agree 9/64" cobalt is the magic size. Sort of late to this show, just got usedTB and discovered cyl 3 no compression. Not so lucky 7 bolts broke. To drill out the bolt studs, I made my own pilot centering guides. Easy to make, but you need to have drill press and a drill press vise. Get a low grade 11mm hex head bolt (easier to drill) that has at least 3/4" shoulder with no threads. Saw off the threaded portion. I did this with a sawzal with a fine tooth metal cutting blade. Put this in drill press vise with head up. Using 9/64" drill thru the center of the bolt. Use that to drill out the broken bolt studs. I also made 3/16 and 1/4 pilots, but did not need them as the studs actually came out fairly easy. You will need a #2 and #3 easy outs to back the stud out. I used a small battery drill with cutting fluid to cool and lube the bit. Drill a little then clean the shavings out with a magnet. Took me 3 tries to get to 1/4". Lightly tap in the easy out and the studs came out easy.
