Wow, thanks
You are most welcome
Thanks Darlene for another great video. I found your Portrait Editing comparison very interesting and it provided lots of very useful information. You must have put quite a bit of time and energy into that! Much appreciated. 🙂
Thanks so much, and yes I put a lot into all my videos
Thank you very much Darlene for this video. Wow!!! The power of Luminar Neo is infinite. I’m using since 6 months until now (the most recent with the latest update) and I love it. But, respect to you, I’m almost a beginner 😅. I will continue to follow you because there are lot of tips from you to learn. Have a good week Darlene. Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭 😊
Thanks so much!
New to me. Thanks.
You're welcome!
Great tutorial, I learned a lot. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you found it helpful
Dziękuję.
You're welcome
Nay, quite disappointed in App
That's too bad. It's decent. But I agree there are other options out there.
Dziękuję bardzo. Jest Pani fenomenalna.😀😀
You're welcome
Would you be so kind as to google "Will Young" his album called "let it be". I am really interested how to reproduce the photo effect on the front. I love your videos and was wondering if you might know how to do this in Luminar Neo. Thanks Jim
I did Google it, you mean this? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Let_It_Go_%28Will_Young_album%29 - You first have to photograph the subject on a white background. Then duplicate the layer, lower the opacity, and move the layer to create the ghost image - you might also need to blur that layer and add a color tint. Then do it again.
@@DigitalPhotoMentor Thanks so much for your speedy reply, it sound easy now you have said it. I will try this technique out as soon as I ca.. Thanks again.
Great edit on my damsel fly !
Glad you liked it
I tried the New HDR, i just wish it could solve barrel distortion and straight lines according to lens or have a custom 4 point just like Lr or Capture1.
You can do that after using the Develop Raw tool no?
@digitalphotomentor thank you for this. I seen a photoshop video of creating reflection puddles using layers etc... is this possible in Luminar rather than a straight mirror flip image ?
You can if you use the Generative AI tools yes. Give this video a watch kzread.info/dash/bejne/nGaLwdiBitPJhqQ.html
@DigitalPhotoMentor thank you definitely has potential see how I go it's been hit and miss so not touched it.
Thanks Darlene, these are areas I need to try more of.
You can do it!
Thank you, very well explained.
You are welcome!
I have to do catch up as in England and yes Hurricane Beryl came to call on Cayman but mostly not much damage - unlike Grenada and Jamaica.
Yes we were thinking about you! Glad you hear you made it unscathed
Caught the replay. Very informative session. I have been working more with layers.
Wonderful!
no masking tools ?
Not yet no

I am new to Luminar neo wanted to know more
How can I help?
Thanks, much too complicated for me.
Which part?
Best explanation ever! I finally get it!!!
Great to hear!
You spend more time talking about your website and you have not spoken about installing purchases sky from Skylum that you mentioned in your opening statement. I am a bit concerned about taking your course.
Sorry I'm not sure what you mean. I literally just mentioned my site and how to buy some from me for about 20 seconds of a nine minute video. The rest is all instructional. So yes I mentioned that you can buy skies from me but I also said "wherever you get them from let's start from the point of download". So if you bought some from Skylum you start there. Then the process is exactly the same to install them into the right place so they will show up inside the Sky AI tool. Did you watch the entire video? I tell you to download, unzip them into folders, then where to go in Luminar to find the Custom folder in which to put them. Then I showed how to organize the ones you have into subfolders. Then I talk about how to make your own skies. I suggest you watch the whole video.
Hi, I love your videos, and find them most helpful, and I wondered if you could help. I recently took some portraits against a green screen, thinking I would replace the background in post edit. I have done everything that people say to do on youtube to remove the background, but end up with a green haze around parts of the shot. I have used transition, object and background, but will not work. I have managed to get rid of the haze by using the clone tool, but this really is not satisfactory, and I am sure there must be a better way. Any ideas.....HELP! - Thank Jim from the UK
Are you putting in a new background? If so just use the color tool on the people layer (the one you cut out the background on) and just lower saturation on green and mask it to around the people. Should work
@@DigitalPhotoMentor thanks, you’re a star. I know there must have been a better way, this worked perfectly . Thanks again.
@@revjimclarke awesome!!
How well does it edit portraits. ? Facial tones , eye and smile corrections , as my free SNAPSEED has portrait and facial corrections. All demo videos I’ve seen use landscape pics. How does it work on portraits
I haven't tried it. I will do that
Saturday 9am UK time is best for me during summer months.
Thanks for that info
Wednesday night doesn't work for me. Other weeknights could work.
Okay noted
The best time in the UK is probably a Saturday or Sunday. Perhaps from 9.00 a.m. in the morning and from 6.00 p.m. in the evening. Having said that any time on a weekday evening from 7.00 p.m. may suit also. I have been watching the stream on the next day but at the moment it is too late for me to see the live version. It is always very enjoyable. Sue Pendleton (London, UK)
Thanks for that but 9am there is 1am my time. 7pm is 11am our time but we'd lose north America then possibly if people work
I completely understand - it will be very difficult to find a time which suits everyone. I am fortunate as I am retired, but Monday to Friday for people in the UK and Europe who are working, is probably impossible. I think we will have to accept that we can see the stream the next day. Rgds. Sue P.
In the mountain forest one I like the one on the right because the lighter forest leads your eye between the mountains.
Fair enough
Darlene, thank, from Slovakia ! 🌹💥
Welcome!
Darlene, thank you for the very informative presentation, very much appreciated... Manfred
Glad it was helpful!
I have not used this tool much. After watching this video I anticipate that I will use it a lot more. Thank you for an excellent tutorial.
You're welcome
its nice & organize, Thanks
Most welcome 😊
❤❤❤ Thanks a ton
You're most welcone
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
limitation of temperature within -100/+100 is not professional for RAW photo... Overall the app looks like a toy not like a tool for work..
Any editing on a mobile device is limited. If you want pro level use a computer
@@DigitalPhotoMentor Darkroom is not, for example
