Dugmer Junction & Highfield Road
Dugmer Junction & Highfield Road
Welcome to Dugmer Junction & Highfield Road.
In June 2010 My farther started a new build in the loft which he would later name Dugmer Junction.
We published several shorts clips and running sessions of trains passing the camera over the following 5 years.
Due to life events there was a 2 years hiatus from KZread.
Unfortunately in 2017 after a water tank removal in the loft and several warped boards we decided to start again.
We are extremely proud to be the 1st Model Railway KZread Channel to "GO LIVE" on the 29th May 2014.
In November 2018 Dugmer Junction MK2 was launched and now resides in a cabin which allows better access for my Dad.
In May 2021 Highfield Road which is our secondary layout was born.
We are a rule 1 railway and have no set rules, You can see all sorts of locos from Steam, Diesel and Electrics in various liveries and various rolling stock.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported the channel.

filing the spring pins definitely helped my set of br blue mk1s that hadn't run right in years thank you very much this was very helpful
@@ethankerr05 excellent 👍 glad it helped
hello l like how at the end they idle the engine rpms back down to normal idle by each notch and I think they should shut down the engine because they are losing oil in the class 50 engine
غيتمكا😂😂😂😢😢😢😢😅😅😮😊
Fascinating so far. Everything seems to be moving at warp speed, I certainly wouldn't like to be on that carousel. Everything that is, apart from the one thing that arguably should; the flying saucer! As for the 'drifting' duck 11:52 ..!
❤👍
That would be great to see 👍
I went here in 2022, very disappointing , the layouts were poor and the shop was even worse, total waste of a day
Looking top notch mate, as usual. 😊
thank you, i'm just installing figures in mine so this was a great video to confirm how to get them apart
I agree with other comments here. The trains are set much to fast for it to look like a model railway. I guess it is done for the kids but spoils it for me. Perhaps you could pass these comments to Peco for their information! A great video and shows off their displays very well. Many thanks.
Thanks for sharing the experience!
I just bought 10 on ebay recently at extortionate prices there so hard to get hold of. I want 5 more too lol
Yeah I was lucky enough to get 10 ARC but paid through the nose for them! Hopefully some more pop up soon.
Oh, thanks for the peek.
THEY RUN THE TRAINS SOOOO FAAST! But I liked it anyway
This place was Xanadu when I were a kid.
Nice to see the FASTLINE charter stock out !!❤
Sure does!
Flipping lovely stuff. U probably know I've a thing for the 73s. Nice too see some on your layout. The pullman livery and the nse really suits them I think. 😊
Yup I have 😂 thank you very much for watching :)
This is definitely neighbour waking material, cracking video. Great loco👍
Enjoyed that, thanks Wayne.
Glad you enjoyed it mate
Thanks for posting . Looks well worth a visit if in the areas 👍
enjoyed your video from Pete
Many Thanks Pete
Looks brand new.
Good luck with the move. Hope you get settled in and are able to build another layout 🤞
Thanks for the kind words. Aiming to start the new build in October
For a 16 cylinder it's running like crap was it built properly
Thanks for your constructive comment. If you feel like you can improve the overhaul and running of a locomotive by all mean gets involved. I’m sure any restoration group would be thrilled to have a constructive person like you onboard.
I have seen quite a few of these first start in many years vids and all of those that involve a locomotive have problems in getting all cylinders running. While I find it amusing I don't understand why only locomotives have a problem with getting all cylinders running within seconds of each other
As per my other comment, if you feel like you can improve or do a better job get involved with a restoration group, I’m sure they would be pleased to have your expertise onboard.
Pollution at it's best......... Great to see 50021 Rodney Start up again 👍👍👍👍👍
I love how it sounds like an old single piston engine
Worth noting that the body on a MK1 Pullman only has the body clips and screws holding it in place. The bogies stay with the frames and are clipped into place like old Lima/Triang bogies. To my knowledge there are no dedicated guides for the Met Cams.
Give me your 031 Hood NOW!
Just as standard with sound and ploughs added :) thanks for stopping by
Thank you for showing off our Exhibition. We are currently updating our Conservatory layout. We hope you will come by this year and see the changes. Pecorama.
It's not a kettle its a diesel
I know I was being sarcastic 😂
Soo cool I wish I had that! (new sub)
I remember when you first started mate, you've come a long way, good luck with the move and I'm sure great things will rise again...can't wait.
Much appreciated Nick :)
An adventure lays ahead, good fortune with that Wayne... keep us posted.
Will do! Thanks Andy
Very best of luck on the move Wayne and the take down of the layout.
Thanks Alan, looking forward to building a larger layout in the loft.
Good luck with the new abode, hopefully you may end up with a larger layout, all the best,
Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 thank you for stopping by.
Good luck in your new home, exciting times ahead
Many thanks, looking forward to it!
depends on what class 37 engine your talking about ?
Nice to see a Train full of passengers.
Indeed!
I enjoyed your update. Regards Alan :o)
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for stopping by!
Pecorama looks amazing I tried visiting before but we ended up with a flat tire. I hope to get there this year
We hope you manage to visit this year.
Great update...cheers.
Thanks for stopping by :)
Nice find mate, first saw that one at Eastleigh in about 1999. Nice video
Thanks mate. Thought it was about time I purchased one
Some of these trains are way too quick. Slower would look far less toy like
I agree
I don’t
The best looking Class 50 livery was the large logo British Rail blue with grey roof. She looks splendid. 👍🏻
Cool
When I see the soot coming out of the chimneys... is that thing burning coal dust?
No it’s a diesel locomotive :)
Is there an entry fee?
No free :)
@@DugmerJunction wow. That's great. Thankyou
Nice to see their layouts. Thank you.
Brings back memories, but new layouts :) I was there with my parents 45ish years ago.
